WHY FACEBOOK IS BAD ?
Facebook has had a significant impact on social networking and has changed the way people socialize with one another. There is enough material on Facebook to keep you engaged all day long. You might love it but you are at a risk, at the cost of your privacy.
1. PRIVACY - FACEBOOK
Facebook is consider to be the backbone of social networking. Be careful about what you post as a status update or on another person's wall. Double check your privacy settings to see what information is available. Applications and other users can take advantage of you if you are not cautious enough.
2. LOTS OF FRIENDS - FACEBOOK
Friend lists are filled with people who are NOT actual friends. This is a fact for most peoples and you didn’t know what information you pass to those who are not your friends.
3. DAMAGE REAL LIFE - FACEBOOK
It damages the real life socialization - Say good
bye to real life as you travel into the new virtual
world.
4. UNKNOWN PEOPLES - FACEBOOK
People whom you’d rather not talk to find and contacts you - This can be annoying and dangerous.
5. UNWANTED INFORMATION - FACEBOOK
You would like to keep your Facebook use to a minimum but your friends are constantly sending you requests to join them in social games, or sharing information that is really better kept a secret. There are options to hide or block applications or users, but new applications are always popping up to take their place.
6. VIRUSES - FACEBOOK
If you’re not careful, you can pick up all kinds of viruses / malware and possibly get phished You seriously don’t want this to happen to you…
7. IRRESPONSIBLE BEHAVIOR - FACEBOOK
It’s not nearly as private as they’d like you to believe. You can be held legally responsible and possibly get in trouble at work for things you say in facebook. Many have lost their jobs because of some irresponsible behavior on facebook.
8. FAKE PROFILES - FACEBOOK
Lots of fake profiles and pictures - This is annoying and can get you tricked.

In the year of 2009, Facebook was the most visited site on the Internet. People spend a lot of time interacting with others and checking on what other people are doing, and you can forget to take care of yourself. Prolonged time online can lead to various health issues like headaches, back aches, eye strain and a long list of other maladies.
