Britney is still in the recording stages of her upcoming album, and is requesting “autobiographical songs” about her life, a music insider reveals to BreatheHeavy.com. Brit wants a more personal album this time around, but knows she needs to be on top of the game. “They’re smart. There’s a hip hop boom coming and she’s staying ahead of the curve,” they said. “Britney’s always been good at staying ahead of music trends and curves. Dance pop will always be big because people will always go to clubs, but hip hop/pop is coming, and it’s gonna boom, and that’s the direction she’s going in.” “If it is done right, then she hits the jackpot. The album will be called the most influential album of the year, or decade, or whatever, because other artists will follow. It’s actually quite genius…” She’s enlisted the help of Will.I.Am, Hit-Boy, Wiz Khalifa and Danja to make sure she gets her seventh number one and create a brand new sound for her fans. And get this, she initially started the demo requesting process with inspiration from Rihanna’s “Diamonds,” but knows if she wants her own unique hit she’ll have to create the trends, not follow them.

After months of speculation, Will.I.Am confirms he’s the executive producer of Britney’s upcoming studio album, and works towards bringing fans an intimate compilation. “I gotta be the vehicle between her and her fans.”

Will tells Rolling Stone: “After I did a song on Femme Fatale – ‘Big Fat Bass’ – and then we did ‘Scream & Shout,’ she really liked the way we worked because of my approach,” will.i.am told said last night at a Levi’s event in Hollywood celebrating his sustainable-product program Ekocycle. “So they asked me to be involved in, not producing and writing every song, but to be an executive producer on the songs.” Although he wouldn’t confirm what producers are involved, he did say Brit “really liked Diplo,” who produced Beyonce’s “Run The World (Girls)” and Usher’s “Climax.” Will hopes the album will showcase her as a person rather than an artist, spending three months of time with Brit to really get inside her mind.

Confirmed: Will.I.Am Is EP Of Album 8

“I was like, ‘OK, look, guys, me and Britney need to have lunch four times a month for three months before I even try to go in the studio with her, because we need to talk. We need to talk about what she’s excited about in life. I gotta talk about the things that hurt her. I gotta talk about the things that make her concerned – she’s a mother. I gotta talk to her about all the things that her fans want to talk to her about. I gotta be the vehicle between her and her fans.” He added, “We can’t do another song about going on the dance floor. Really? Didn’t we see a bunch of Britney doing that already? Don’t we want to see something that comes from her heart?” He didn’t specify when the album will wrap, but says things are moving along fairly quickly, adding that he and Brit had an “amazing” session yesterday at Record Plant.

Britney hit up the Record Plant on Monday, the same recording studio Gaga’s using to finish up her new album, “Art Pop.” We know Britney worked with Will.I.Am that session, but it inevitably brought up the question: “Should Britney collaborate with Lady Gaga?” Britney Spears is the princess of pop, making Gaga something more like a maid or a duchess or some shit. I don’t know I’m a blogger not a historian. So if a collaboration did happen, it has the potential to be huge, or a giant flop. Here’s a few reasons why it could FLOP harder than Beyonce’s Pepsi commercial ::hits head backwards on glass::, or prove to be one of the biggest hits in 2013 of all time.

There’s inevitably going to be a feud between the two artists’ fanbases because, well we’re bitches! Both sides are going to refuse to buy the song so they don’t support the rival. Yep, we’ll show YOU! Or, there’s the flip side; the song unites both fanbases and everyone buys the song, making it a huge success. Plus, The Army is always readily available to give Little Monsters tips on how to not be so embarrassing in public. OMG I love your bracelet where’d you get it?

This could also work in their favor. I mean, eoveryone loves it when the weird dude scores a really hot wife; there’s a story in there for sure! There’s a reason Britney passed on releasing “Telephone.” It’s not because she didn’t record an awesome version of it, or that it’s not well-written; it proved to be a huge hit for Gaga (and Beyonce). Maybe Britney didn’t want that stigma that she recorded a hit song composed by Mother Monster. Then again… Brit recorded a song written by Keesha… On the other hand, Britney wants to write a more personal album, and Lady Gaga does indeed write songs from the heart. Maybe if the two sat down over tea and kermit crumpets, they could craft a deliciously raw and intimate pop smash. Maybe Gaga could open Britney’s eyes to a new world of writing she’s never previously experienced. Regardless whether the collaboration happens, both women rock in the pop industry, and it’s only a matter of time before the two hook up in the studio. What do YOU think? Is there potential for a pop smash?

“There’s A Monster

Jean Baptiste:

Record Coming In June”

Jean Baptiste alluded to a smash single debuting in June, and since we know he’s involved in Brit’s album, we can’t help but wonder (or hope) it’s about Brit!

“There’s a monster record coming in June!!!! Gonna be a bit of a shocker, that’s all I’m allowed to say!!!!” “Great day to get a bunch of songs done!” Britney’s Shape magazine cover hits in June, Jean’s talked a LOT about Britney lately, Brit was recently at the recording studio, her Vegas residency is rumored to hit the fall and Will.I.Am said they’re moving pretty fast. Do not fuck with our hearts like this!!!!
