The introduction of new or adapted technologies and policies must be accompanied by capacity development toensure their sustainability and long-term impact. We have developed tools for building human capacity and

knowledge on water, sanitation and waste interventions, working with individuals, enterprises, communities, NGOsand governments. We provide:

• Workshop facilitation including participatory methodologies for identifying and agreeing capacity gaps• Delivery of water, sanitation and waste related training at all levels, from government officials and utility

professionals, to local technicians, small enterprises and community members

• Training of trainers to build capacity and maximise local knowledge transfer

• Design and production of knowledge products, including how-to manuals, guidelines and training materials• Comprehensive dissemination strategies incorporating elements of awareness raising, education and
