100 MILLION EURO WIND FARM IN FINLAND

A new wind farm in Vähäkyrö, Vaasa will turn into one of Finland's largest with 16 wind turbines with a nominal power of 3.3 megawatts and an overall nominal power of 52.8 megawatts.

The cost of the licenses is €50,000 per megawatt, for a potential total of €5 million.

The company estimates the cost of construction of the wind farms at €1.6 million per megawatt, the total cost being dependent on the actual scope of the licenses purchased. The wind farms are expected to be ready within the next two years.

The order comprises the 73 MW Kalajoki project,  Delivery of the 26 MW Siikainen project will begin in the third quarter of this year and is expected to be completed in

the first quarter of 2015The above two projects are implementing by Vestas and controlled by tuuliwatti.
