To Whom It May Concern: I’ve had the good fortune of getting to coach Lauren as part of the CBU Women’s Volleyball Team. Throughout that time, I have found her to be outgoing, intelligent, and very hard working. Lauren has a lot of positives working in her favor, however there are three attributes that truly made her stand out from her peers. Lauren brings energy and enthusiasm to whatever she does, every day. Her engine never seemed to turn off. As soon as she walked into the gym she was switched on, engaged and ready to get after it. She is always the first in line to try something new. Our program values a growth mindset and Lauren was unafraid to take a risk, put herself out there, and try her best. She is someone who is very comfortable accepting challenges and then working tenaciously towards mastery or task completion. Finally, Lauren is a great teammate. She is clearly someone who values the people around her and is willing to work unselfishly towards the goal of the group. She does a very good job of supporting others whether it is taking on additional tasks or offering emotional support and she is always looking for ways to go above and beyond for the good of the team.
