August 31, 2016 To Whom It May Concern, It is indeed a pleasure to have this opportunity to provide a letter of recommendation for Jordan Schroeder. Jordan served as a Student Administrative Assistant in the College of Education and Human Ecology (EHE), Undergraduate Student Services (UGSS) for almost a total of two years (November 2014-August 2016). I had the pleasure of serving as Jordan’s immediate supervisor for his entire employment with the College. Jordan’s job responsibilities were as follows: providing front desk support and coverage in the lobby for the EHE office, answering student inquiries regarding general questions about The Ohio State University-College of EHE, scheduling and checking- in appointments for the UGSS staff, and other duties as assigned. Jordan’s position required attention to detail, organizational and leadership skills, and being able to work independently. Jordan was a highly motivated student employee, and from his first day of employment, he exhibited all the skills and talent of a natural leader. His strengths in leadership included his high level of confidence, willingness to accept additional responsibilities, and his interest in assisting his peers. While employed with EHE, I thought very highly of Jordan and I knew when I assigned him to a project, it would get done promptly and efficiently. I admired and appreciated all of these qualities in Jordan because most students his age are still trying to develop these sets of skills. In addition to being a natural leader, Jordan demonstrated excellent decision making and time management skills. When Jordan puts his mind to something, he always gives 110%. This is one of the reasons why we extended his employment with EHE after graduating from the University for an additional fifteen weeks. Jordan was a very hard worker with a strong work ethic. He always demonstrates a positive attitude and is a go-getter, dependable, and an open-minded individual. In summary, I can provide my enthusiastic recommendation of Mr. Schroeder for your company. To Whom It May Concern,

It is indeed a pleasure to have this opportunity to provide a letter of recommendation for Jordan Schroeder.

Jordan served as a Student Administrative Assistant in the College of Education and Human Ecology (EHE),

Undergraduate Student Services (UGSS) for almost a total of two years (November 2014-August 2016). I had the

pleasure of serving as Jordan’s immediate supervisor for his entire employment with the College. Jordan’s job

responsibilities were as follows: providing front desk support and coverage in the lobby for the EHE office, answering

student inquiries regarding general questions about The Ohio State University-College of EHE, scheduling and checking-

in appointments for the UGSS staff, and other duties as assigned.

Jordan’s position required attention to detail, organizational and leadership skills, and being able to work independently.

Jordan was a highly motivated student employee, and from his first day of employment, he exhibited all the skills and

talent of a natural leader. His strengths in leadership included his high level of confidence, willingness to accept

additional responsibilities, and his interest in assisting his peers. While employed with EHE, I thought very highly of

Jordan and I knew when I assigned him to a project, it would get done promptly and efficiently. I admired and

appreciated all of these qualities in Jordan because most students his age are still trying to develop these sets of skills.

In addition to being a natural leader, Jordan demonstrated excellent decision making and time management skills. When

Jordan puts his mind to something, he always gives 110%. This is one of the reasons why we extended his employment

with EHE after graduating from the University for an additional fifteen weeks. Jordan was a very hard worker with a

strong work ethic. He always demonstrates a positive attitude and is a go-getter, dependable, and an open-minded

individual.

In summary, I can provide my enthusiastic recommendation of Mr. Schroeder for your company. If you should have any

questions please feel free to contact me via email at [email protected] or phone at (614) 292-8659.
