Survivors include her daughters Anita (Edward) Porter of Cuyahoga Falls, Michelle (the late Thomas) Runion of Mogadore and Lisa (Tim- othy) Bennett of Man- tua, son Edward (Beth) Krepkovich of Aurora, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was born in Akron, the daughter of Clem- ent and Jennie Jordan, the youngest of six and last surviving sibling. Joanne graduated from St. Mary’s High School and then worked at St. Thomas Hospital as a transcriptionist where she met and maintained friendships with co- workers until her passing. The city girl moved to Randolph in 1957 when she married her husband, Melvin L. Krantz, who she now joins in heaven along with her infant son, Martin. Joanne was an active member of St. Joseph Parish where she worked for many years as a librar- ian for the parish school, and served on numer- ous committees through- out the years where she impacted many lives and organized numerous charitable events for the parish, school and Ran- dolph community. She was also a small business owner, Krantz Katering, and served over 1000 events. In addition to her volunteer work Joanne enjoyed cooking, attend- ing events for her grand- children, playing bridge, cheering for all Cleveland sports teams and making Christmas special for her family and friends. Joanne leaves to cher- ish and honor her mem- ory her children, Kath- leen (Deborah), Timothy (Karen), Kevin (Karen) and Colleen (Eric) Mor- gan; along with 11 grand- children, Scott (Ashlee) Metzger, Staff Sgt. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Pete was a gradu- ate of Canton McKin- ley High School in 1948. Pete graduated from Kent State University in 1952 with his B.S. degree in Education, in 1959 with his Master’s in Trade and Industry, and in 1979 with his Educational Special- ist degree. He was instru- mental in developing the Vocational Club V.I.C.A. Pete was highly respected and admired by his peers and students alike. He had a great passion for his work. Pete retired as a teacher educator in Voca- tional Education at Kent State University in 1985. Pete was most proud of his family whom he loved dearly. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Chi- onchio) Angelo, whom he married on June 28, 1952 at St Patrick Church in Kent; son, Steven (Gina) Angelo of Canfield; daughter, Jodi (Rick) Haught of Cuyahoga Falls; grandsons, Nicho- las (Erin) Haught, Jona- than (Taylor) Haught, Christopher Angelo, Andrew (Jessica) Angelo, Benjamin Angelo; a great grandson, Graham Haught; and brother, Joseph Angelo of Massil- lon. Patricia L. Swauger, 85, of Kent, died Satur-day, June 18, 2016 at UH Portage Medical Center.
