HIGH FIDEOTY RECORDING

The fresh, modern

stylings of the

Four Freshmen in

a smooth and mellow

collection of

popular love songs.

FRESHMEN

Underscoring the Four Freshmen’s “Love Lost” mood here are

lush strings and a rhythm section, with the Frosh front and center,

singing new depths of meaning into eleven favorite love ballads—and

their own composition, the album’s title song.

Bob Flanigan sings top voice and is also featured on trombone;

Don Barbour is the second voice, brother Ross is the third; Ken Albers

sings bass and contributes trumpet solos as well.

Produced by VOYLE GILMORE

An innovation by the Four are the unusual interludes that they sing,

without accompaniment, between selections.

The album sometimes spotlights one of the Freshmen in

a solo, but it is the special blend of all four members which makes

“Love Lost” the wonderful listening experience that it is.
