A new world of sustainable and low maintenance windows and doors is available using Accoya® wood.

We moved from the small garage to a small lock up in central Reddish as the business grew in the 1970s but still solely offered a supply only service, although some of our customers were now builders and joiners by trade.

Reddish Joinery was established in 1967, we started the business in a small garage in North Reddish, Stockport and produced made-to-measure timber windows for domestic customers on a supply only basis.

During the 1980s the business was still growing and with the demand from the trade side growing, we moved to our current home in central Reddish, Stockport. It was not until then that we began to push forward the supply and install side of the business so that we could give the homeowner a one-stop shop for replacing timber windows.

Our unique glazing system allows the timber-glazing bead to clip onto a fixed continuous UPVC base that is pre-fitted in the factory before the windows are installed. The main benefits of the system are that the beads do not need to be nailed into place, the Teknos coating is not

breached/broken, there is a continuous air gap around the unit which prolongs the life on the glazed units and if/when units need to be changed the beads can be reused. The beads are fitted into place with high security weather proof glazing tape and are drained to let any excess water through.
