the listeners, supporters and followers of RedShift Radio. I have appeared on RedShift Radio several times and on a variety of shows including Polish Insight and Community Round-Up.

Dr Gav and Bizzy Lizzy have developed a strong and diverse team around them and are popular and pro-active members of our community.

RedShift Radio really does live up to its motto of “Bringing Communities Together” and we as a community should support their efforts to bring a full-time FM community station to this area.

If you have not yet tuned in to one of the 45 different shows online then I urge you to do so.

I wish Dr Gav, Bizzy Lizzy and the whole of the RedShift Radio team a very happy 1st Birthday and best of luck when they come to apply for a full-time FM licence in 2013.

WHAT IS REDSHIFTRADIO?RedShift Radio went live online at www.redshiftradio.co.uk on 6th September 2010 as part of RedShift Media Services Ltd.

Founded by a Doctor of Nuclear Physics and an ex-teacher and marketing specialist known on air as Dr Gav and Bizzy Lizzy.

It is the aim of RedShift Radio to get a full-time FM Community Licence in 2013 and we are laying the foundation for this now. Already we have a strong team of over 50 presenters and 45 different shows for all areas of the community.

WHAT'S ON GUIDE

This is a very important year for Crewe, there are lots of celebrations; the centenary of the Lyceum Theatre, grand opening of Queens Park, Scout movement centenary and 90th Anniversary of the Royal British Legion to name a few!

How does all this information get publicised? Through community organisations and local news media. At the heart of Crewe's community its RedShift Radio “Bringing Communities Together” its does exactly what it says on the tin!

With its online radio shows covering numerous topics and live interviews along with the promotion of businesses, community groups and charities with their RedShift Hub events, its a shot in the arm for the town of Crewe which needs a local radio station.

I wish RedShift Radio a happy first birthday and wish them good luck in obtaining an FM licence so we can listen at our convenience in the future. Lets hope Crewe Town can be a part of its success and mirror a community to be proud of!

ur mission at RedShift is to ensure that all areas of our community are given the opportunity to be involved. With

five youth shows each week we certainly allow the younger members of the community that great opportunity also!

The Junior School Run is a show hosted by up to three children from one primary school for six weeks. The Senior School Run is the same but for a 12 week period and for both we personally train the students to produce and present their own shows.

Scout and About is for all youth movements, whether it’s Scouts, Guides, Cadets, a sports group or youth club, we want everyone to get involved in this fun and very interactive show!

Act Natural is hosted by students from The Young Actors in Nantwich and every week they look at what’s new in the world of performing art, especially for young people.

The Generation Gig is a show for all ages presented by teens who love their music. Every week a different era of music is chosen and mums, dads, grannies and siblings are invited to listen and vote on their favorite tunes.

R edShift Radio is an online community radio station with an aim to bring Crewe and surrounding towns

it's own full time community FM licence in 2013. We already have a diverse community programme schedule and we'd love you to have a listen and give us some feedback.

Let's start with Mondays: Grey Natter presented by Dave Burrowes and sponsored by Richmond Village in Nantwich is one for seniors.

On Tuesdays it's Charities Today presented by Mumtaz Hussain and sponsored by Ploink.co.uk. This show has given over 100 charities an opportunity shout about the great things they do through our online broadcast and social media channels.

Our European friends and culture vultures are well catered for with European Lunch on Thursdays and Polish Insight, in Polish and English, on Fridays and Sundays”.
