The Aging & Disability Resource Center of the Lakeshore is looking for a volun-teer dining site manager willing to staff the Reedsville Senior Dining Site and Meals on Wheels program. Time in-volved would be Wednesdays and Fri-days, 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Duties in-clude receiving the hot food, preparing the home delivered trays, serving the congregate meal, clean-up, and minimal paperwork. Training will be provided. The congregate and home delivered meal programs are very important to the community. Payment of Property Taxes:

• Real estate and personal property tax payments can be made in person at the Reedsville Municipal Building during normal busi-ness hours.

• Payments may also be made by sending a check to the following: Reedsville Municipal Building, Tax Collection, 217 Menasha St., Reedsville, WI 54230-8597. Taxes paid by check or money order must be made payable to the Village of Reedsville. Cash will not be accepted. A receipt will only be sent back if you have includ-ed a self-addressed stamped envelope.

be as young as 7 years old, male or female, and spouses/children are half priced dues. TOPS has Regional, State and International

awards for losing weight. So, if you want to lose weight and can't afford the other weight loss programs out there, come and

ary we will have a college student doing an internship

with us on a bi-monthly basis. She will be responsible for some of the fundraising and advertising, contacting

local high schools for volunteers, updating the website

and facebook. She, also, is very excited to be a part of

being a volunteer with the students that come here on a

weekly basis. And we have another college student that is writing a

grant with the funds to be used to build an indoor arena

for winter and inclement weather, salaries to hire staff,

supplies to fix or replace fencing, materials to build a

shelter and a horse obstacle course for youth sessions

and monies for ongoing equine expenses and equipment. Check out our website for the wish list here at Sunrise.

We are in need of volunteers....what time fits your

schedule? Presently, every morning is open except Sun-

day and every afternoon except Monday & Tuesday.

REEDSVILLE BOARD OF EDUCATION MINUTES - REGULAR BOARD MEETING

October 20, 2014

The regular meeting of the Reedsville Board of Education was called to order at 5:30 P.M. by Board President Andrew Maertz. Present: Board Members – Andrew Maertz, Todd Cavanaugh, John Ebert, Jeff Deprez,, and Cory Kiekhaefer. Administrative Team Members – Tony Butturini, Michael Nate, Angie Sander-foot; Others: Joy Spatchek, Sue Deprez and Maggie Berkholtz..

Mr. Tony Butturini announced that proper legal notice of the meeting had been given. Board President Andrew Maertz led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. I. Opening

A. Motion by Todd Cavanaugh to approve the agenda, se-conded by John Ebert. All ayes.

A. District Administrator/High School Principal Mr. Tony Butturini reported as follows: 1. Congratulations to John Ebert for receiving his level IV award at the Re-gional WASB meeting. 2. Board members visiting the schools. 3 Congrats to Grant Wedepohl and Bailey Eb-ben who are Homecoming king and queen. Thanks to the advisors for a great week of activities. 4. Resolution to add Fund 41 for capital improvements. 5. Manitowoc Street bridge project. 6.WASDA School Finance work-shop on October 23rd. 7 End of term #1, Wed. Nov 5th. 8. High school fall play Friday and Saturday, Nov. 7-8. 9. Aspire testing.

B. Elem/MS Principal

Mr. Michael Nate reported as follows: 1. Enrollment num-bers. 2. Communication. 3. 6th grade camp. 4. Early childhood screening. 5. Elementary language arts teach-ers belief statement, 6. 5th grade student garden project. 7. Fundraiser. 8. Olympian Middle School conference. 9. Todd Cavanaugh commented on the Kiel meeting. It pro-vided new information for some and there was many positive comments. John Ebert said it was good to see the sign lite.

ELECTRONICS PRICING CHANGE

Beginning January 1, 2015 The Manitowoc County Recycling Center will adjust the recycling charg-es on a number of items accepted under the electronics collection program. Please call 920-683-4333 for a list of items/fees or visit the Manitowoc County Recycling Center website at www.manitowocrecycles.org. All televisions and monitors are measured diagonally across the glass portion of the screen. Televisions and monitors must not be broken or stripped. Due to the in-creased health and safety issues associated with handling, storing and transporting stripped electronics or broken televisions, these items may be refused or assessed an extra fee depending on the situation. The Manitowoc County Recycling Center is registered with the Wisconsin De-partment of Natural Resources as a certified electronics collector. This means that ALL the electronics recycled through our program are sent to reputable recycling companies who guarantee the confidential destruction of any personal data remaining on your electronics, recycle or reuse all of the materials they receive, and are registered with the Environmental Protection Association and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

A meeting of the Reedsville Village Board was called to order on November 20, 2014 at 6:00 PM by Village President Andy Bubolz. Present were: Bob Campana, Ryan Lorrigan, Jerry Reis, and Jack Siebert: Also present were: Maxwell Davies, Scott Dvorachek, Steve Zirbel, Melanie Hills, Leroy Krepline, JoAnn Mignon, and Craig Schuh. Board left to tour the Wastewater Treatment Facility. Returned at 6:38 pm The minutes of the previous meeting of November 6, 2014 were ap-proved as presented. A motion was made by Campana and seconded by Reis to pay the accounts payable in the amount of $243,973.93. Motion carried 4-0. A motion was made by Campana and seconded by Reis to pay the accounts payable for the Bubolz Memorial Park Project in the amount of $445.756. Motion carried 4-0. At 7:00 pm a public hearing was opened for the Discontinuance of a portion of Industrial Park Drive. Resolution 2014-7 regarding this discontinuance was introduced by Reis. A motion was made by Siebert and seconded by Lorrigan to approve the Resolution as pre-sented. Motion carried 4-0. At 7:15 pm a public hearing was opened for the 2015 budgets. A mo-tion was made by Siebert and seconded by Lorrigan to approve the First Responders 2015 Budget in the amount of $21,587.89. Mo-tion carried 4-0. A motion was made by Lorrigan and seconded by Reis to approve the 2015 Sewer Budget in the amount of $450,730.00. Motion carried 4-0. A motion was made by Campana and seconded by Reis to approve the 2015 Water Budget in the amount of $341,105.00. Motion carried 4-0. A motion was made by Lorrigan and seconded by Siebert to approve the 2015 General Budget in the amount of $2,001,504.00. Motion carried 4-0. Correspondence was presented from Valders Ambulance and Mani-towoc County Highway Commission.

Correspondence was presented from the Reedsville Housing Authori-ty. A motion was made by Lorrigan and seconded by Campana to reappoint Olson to another term as the Commission Chairperson. Mo-tion carried 4-0. The discussion on the Dept. of Natural Resources correspondence was postponed until Busse can attend the meeting. Hill gave an update on the First Responders. A motion was made by Reis and seconded by Campana to approve the First Responder appli-cations from Sandy Degner and Don Beattie. Motion carried 4-0 Mignon gave an update on the Police Dept. A motion was made by Lorrigan and seconded by Reis to purchase a headset for the Fire Dept. from Frank’s Radio in the amount of $970.00. Motion carried 4-0. A motion was made by Siebert and se-conded by Campana to approve the Fire Protection Agreement with the Town of Cato. Motion carried 4-0. A motion was made by Reis and second by Lorrigan to approve the Operator License application from Nicole Jeanine Rivest. Motion carried 4-0. A motion was made by Reis and seconded by Campana to approve the 2015 Agreement with Eastshore Humane Association. Motion carried 4-0. A discussion was held regarding the Town of Maple Grove using the Election Tabulator for the Governor and Presidential Elections. A motion was made by Campana and seconded by Lorrigan to allow the use at a cost of $100.00 per election used. It is understood that any cost for the programing will be to the Town. Motion carried 4-0. Bubolz turned the meeting over to Lorrigan to discuss the Deerview Drive Extension Project at 7:13 pm. Lorrigan turned the meeting back to Bubolz at 7:18 pm. The next regular meeting will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 6:30 PM. A motion was made by Reis and seconded by Cam-pana to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 4-0. A meeting of the Reedsville Village Board was called to order on November 6, 2014 at 6:30 PM by Village President Andy Bubolz. Present were: Bob Campana, Ryan Lorrigan, Jerry Reis, and Jack Siebert: Also present were: Brad Busse, Melanie Hills, Leroy Krep-line, JoAnn Mignon, and Craig Schuh. The minutes of the previous meeting of October 16, 2014 were ap-proved as presented. A motion was made by Campana and seconded by Reis to pay the accounts payable in the amount of $95,484.94. Motion carried 4-0. Valders Ambulance monthly report was reviewed. Following a discussion, a motion was made by Campana and second-ed by Reis to put up and light the Christmas decorations the same as last year. Alternate decorations and lighting options will be obtained for the 2015 season. Motion carried 4-0. A motion was made by Lor-rigan and seconded by Siebert to purchase 4 tires for the tractor from Pat’s Tire in the amount of $2,500.00. Motion carried 4-0. Hills presented the First Responders written monthly report. Mignon presented the Police Dept. monthly report. Busse presented the Fire Dept. written monthly report. A discussion was held regarding a Village credit card. A motion was made by Campana and seconded by Siebert to create a policy before applying. Motion carried 4-0. Reis introduced Resolution 2014 desig-nating officials for voter registration on Election Day. A motion was made by Lorrigan and seconded by Campana to approve the Resolu-tion as presented. Motion carried 4-0. Siebert introduced Resolution 2014-6 adopting the Manitowoc County 2014 All Hazard Mitigation Plan. A motion was made by Campana and seconded by Lorrigan to approve the Resolution as presented. Motion carried 4-0. A motion was made by Siebert and seconded by Reis to approve the 2015 Law Enforcement Service Agreement with the City of Brillion as present-ed. Motion carried 4-0. A motion was made by Campana and second-ed by Lorrigan to approve the Fire Protection Agreement with the

Town of Maple Grove as presented. Motion carried 4-0. A motion was made by Reis and seconded by Lorrigan to approve the Operator License application from Kelly Vande Voort. Motion carried 4-0. Reis introduced Resolution 2014-5 granting temporary Limited ease-ment for the Manitowoc Street Bridge Project. A motion was made by Campana and seconded by Siebert to approve the Resolution as presented. Motion carried 4-0. Bubolz turned the meeting over to Lorrigan to discuss the Deerview Drive Extension Project at 7:13 pm. A letter was presented from Ray-mond and Suzanne Bubolz requesting the Village install ten laterals at Bubolz expense. A motion was made by Reis and seconded by Siebert approving their request and pending receipt of a request from Piepenburg. Motion carried 4-0. A motion was made by Siebert and seconded by Campana to purchase 50’ of land for drainage. Motion carried 4-0. Lorrigan turned the meeting back to Bubolz at 7:33 pm. At 7:34 a motion was made by Reis and seconded by Lorrigan to go into closeted session, pursuant to WI Stat. Section 19.85© to conduct business which requires a closed session to consider performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility. Motion carried 4-0. At 8:10 pm a motion was made by Siebert and seconded by Lorrigan to reconvene into open session. Motion carried 4-0 A motion was made by Lorrigan and seconded by Campana to keep the Village Boards pay schedule as is. Motion carried 4-0. A motion was made by Campana and seconded by Reis to start the next regular scheduled Board meeting at 6:00 pm to inspect Village owned prop-erty. Motion carried 4-0 The next regular meeting will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 6:00 PM. A motion was made by Reis and seconded by Cam-pana to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 4-0.
