Reflection 1 st day To day is my first day of phase two practicum. From this two months onwa rds,I will be having my practicum at SK Kiaramas for two months with my other friends, Amani, Ain and Alya. We went to school uite early as it is our first day and we want to show a good impression to the school. We arrived the school around !".!! a.m. and we went straight to the school office to report ourselves. I was impressed with the school environment as I can feel the warmth of the school staff, teachers and the students. They welcomed us with bright smiles and greeting. This has somehow lower down my nervousness level. We then waited for the administra tive teacherwho will be incharge of us as the headmaster was not around. While waiting for the teacher , the cler# introduced us to the school teachers and staffs. It was a pleasan t meeting with them and I hope that we can cooperate well with each and every person in the school. After a short meeting with the $%K and coopera tive teachers, we were brought to the staff room to get our table and then we met the cooperative teacher personally. After the discussion, I was given the chance to enter &# to get to #now the pupils better. As I will be here for about two months, I decided to build a good rapport with the pupils but at the same time, I maintain the barrier so that they will still have the respect towards me, their new teacher. After the class finished, I met my coopera ting teacher and consulted him. I as#ed a few uestions regarding the class and on how the teacher usually conducts the class. I hope that I can do my very best and able to manage the classroom well. All in all, I reali'ed that there are many areas that I should consider to ensure that I can manage the class well when I start to teach. 07.00 a.m. and we went straight to the school office to report
ourselves. I was impressed with the school environment as I can
feel the warmth of the school staff, teachers and the students.
They welcomed us with bright smiles and greeting. This has somehow
lower down my nervousness level. We then waited for the
administrative teacher who will be incharge of us as the headmaster
was not around. While waiting for the teacher, the clerk introduced
us to the school teachers and staffs. It was a pleasant meeting
with them and I hope that we can cooperate well with each and every
person in the school. After a short meeting with the GPK and
cooperative teachers, we were brought to the staff room to get our
table and then we met the cooperative teacher personally. After the
discussion, I was given the chance to enter 5k to get to know the
pupils better. As I will be here for about two months, I decided to
build a good rapport with the pupils but at the same time, I
maintain the barrier so that they will still have the respect
towards me, their new teacher. After the class finished, I met my
cooperating teacher and consulted him. I asked a few questions
regarding the class and on how the teacher usually conducts the
class. I hope that I can do my very best and able to manage the
classroom well. All in all, I realized that there are many areas
that I should consider to ensure that I can manage the class well
when I start to teach. This is a learning process for me and this
experience surely benefits me in future.
