MOTIVATION AND LEARNINGThrough this topic, I was able to
comprehend the needs of motivation in a common classroom context in
three different theories. Basically, teaching a class full of
motivated students is enjoyable for teacher and student alike. This
was because pupils know their path of lives very well especially in
the area of education. Based on the theories, I understood the ways
of the pupils will get motivated and advantages of having pupils
who are motivated in many ways. For example, for the rewards as
stated in Behaviourism theory, positive classroom environment and
relationship among the students and teachers that stated in
Humanistic theory and last for the cognitive theory, pupils get
motivated due to their goals. Overall, as a teacher, knowing these
kinds of motivation that the pupils might have will enable me to
prepare myself accordingly including the teaching and learning
process in order to foster high motivation among them.
