Delegates Speak...
I still cannot believe that the event that we planned and practiced so much for is over. The
three days went by like a blur and I was disappointed when it was over. The conference
was fun, eventful and a learning experience for us all. From the thrill of wearing suits to the
groggy expressions on our faces when we woke up at unearthly hours (yes, 6:30 is unearth-
ly for me), I enjoyed every moment of it.
Nikhil Ramakrishnan– 8Y
It was an absolutely amazing experience. Never
have I ever felt so important in my life. Ever
since fourth grade, I have always wanted to be
Secretary of State. This was great practice—
Tara Nouri-7 X
As John F. Kennedy once said, I start my
day thinking what I can do instead of
what the world can do for me. That is
what us kids got to do at the MUN. It
was an amazing experience.
Rohan Bansal -7 X
It was something I had never experienced
before. The tapping of the table and rais-
ing the placard, I am going to miss all of
that. It was very informative and all in all
an amazing experience. I am looking for-
ward to go back again and hope it will be
even more fun. Fingers Crossed!!!
Sunaina Mehta—7 Y
The MUN was a great experience
and it was SUPER fun. I only wish I
had read up a little more about the
other countries! I’m looking forward
to more MUNs.
Krittika—7 X
It was amazing! One could just sit there and soak up all about other coun-tries and their opinions! The atmosphere of the room kept changing as well! From a few hilarious moments, to a bout of brief annoyance, to a dumbstruck pin drop silence, with the scratching of pens on paper in the background. It was my first MUN, and I really wouldn’t choose to have it anywhere else! It was truly memorable, and I truly hope that it was the
first of many MUN conferences for me!

Student Led Conference
The second semester begins with the reflection on the semester gone by. Stu-dents present their work in front of the parents, school principal and the form tutor, discussing about their most interesting and challenging work in 1st semes-ter. They also set the goals for 2nd semester and the strategies to achieve those goals. It is a great platform to share and reflect on their understanding of vari-
ous concepts across subjects.
ASSEMBLY TIME
The assembly began with a prayer
‘’Our Father’’.
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,
Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done,
On Earth as it is in Heaven,
Give us this day our daily bread,
Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us,
Lead us not into temptation ,But deliver us from evil,
For thine is the kingdom the power and the glory,
Forever and ever
AMEN
Suveni read a self composed poem on racial discrimination as follows:
When the hatred takes over their mind,
When jealousy turns them blind;
To pick on you, they look for reasons and causes;
But when they look at you, you’re absolutely flawless.
When they do everything but they just can't make you feel duller,
That is when they start to judge you by your color.
But this has been on for generations; it has been on for an age
It’s high time we should stop this now; I think it’s time to change
So I decide to change everyone around, to tell them how to be...
But I think I’ll start with the one in the mirror,
I think I’ll start with me.
Written by Suveni Madan
