2. What resources do I have and need to accomplish the same?
3. What are the methods and means to achieve it?

#or$ and eliminate unproductive effort. %hrough planning involves a lot of time& energy and
money for its formulation and implementation& it tends to minimi"e the costs of performance.
ii. Po!de" decto%:Planning provides direction and a sense of purpose to the organi"ation is
a'le to find out #hat it cannot do over the net one year to five years& it can 'egin setting
meaningful o')ectives.
iii. ed+ce" o -%-e" "+#"e": %here are many unseen o'stacles and o'stacles 'ound to
come during the process of production. *o as to avoid all this surprises planning is necessary
in advance to 'e effectively carried out.

'e li$e the mimeses t#ins& i.e.& insepara'le. %he control function depends on planning .
Without planning there is nothing to control 'ut #ithout control& planning is a #asteful and
unproductive eercise.

4ecision ma$ing may 'e defined as to identify and select course of action to deal #ith a specific
pro'lem or ta$e advantage of an opportunity.
Ide%t'y:to identify the very 'est possi'le solution to ma$e our decision ma$ing s$ill effective and
result orienting. Identifying involves lots of intuition s$ill to understand the situation in hand and
evolve out of it.
e$ect:selecting the solution is also nonetheless important for our decision ma$ing s$ill. %he right
selection or the smart selection is the main course of steering the #heel of the 7rgani"ational
development.
