Regimental Chief Warrant Officer of The Judge Advocate General's Corps U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer Five Ron Prescott CW5 Ron E. Prescott, a native of the Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago, entered active duty in 1998 after working as a banker in the twin island republic for six years. He completed Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina in 1999. In 2003, after earning the rank of Staff Sergeant and serving in varied positions to include NCOIC of the Paralegal Degree Research Team at The Judge Advocate General’s School in Charlottesville, Virginia and Operational Law NCOIC, United States Army South at Fort Buchanan Puerto Rico and Fort Sam Houston, Texas, he was assessed as a Warrant Officer and completed Warrant Officer Candidate School at Fort Rucker, Alabama. CW5 Prescott most recently served as the Judge Advocate Warrant Officer Proponent in the Personnel Plans Training Office, Office of The Judge Advocate General, Washington, DC. His previous assignments include Legal Services Program Manager and Functional Proponent, Headquarters, U.S. Army Installation Management Command, Joint Base San Antonio, Texas; Senior Legal Administrator, 8th Army Yongsan, Korea; Director of Operations and Student Services, The Judge Advocate General’s Legal Center and School, Charlottesville, Virginia; Senior Legal Administrator, 10th Mountain Division and Fort Drum, New York; Senior Legal Administrator Regional Command-South, Kandahar, Afghanistan, Senior Legal Administrator, III Corps and Fort Hood, Texas, and Legal Administrator, United States Army Medical Department Center and School and Fort Sam Houston, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. CW5 Prescott possesses a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Psychology and a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Walden University, Minneapolis, Minnesota. He also possesses a Bachelor of Science in Management from Wayland Baptist University, San Antonio, Texas. CW5 Prescott is a graduate of the U.S. Army Warrant Officer Career College’s Warrant Officer Intermediate Level Education and Senior Service Education courses; he is also a graduate of the Judge Advocate Warrant Officer Basic and Advanced Courses. CW5 Prescott’s awards include the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Commendation Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Achievement Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters, the Army Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Campaign Star, the Korea Defense Service Medal, and the NATO Medal. CW5 Prescott is married and has five children.
