    economicdevelopmentpolicieshavefailedcommunitiesacrossthestateandnottrulyinvested

    intheuniqueresourcesandstrengthsofeachofNewYork'sregions.Nowanew,bottom-up

    approachisinplacethatbringslocalcommunitiestogethertocharttheirowneconomic

    destiny.ThesecondroundofRegionalEconomicDevelopmentCouncilawardswilldeliver

    fundingforcriticalprojectsandinvestmentsincommunitiesacrossourstate,helpingputNewYorkersbacktoworkandrebuildingoureconomy."

    Statewide,atotalof$738millionwasawardedfor725economicdevelopmentprojectsin

    everyregionofNewYorkState.
