Avril is a widely acclaimed keynote speaker, consultant, business and career coach, mentor and author, who is passionate about diversity, developing collaborative leaders and positive workplaces.

Avril is a Fellow of CPA Australia, a Senior Associate of the Australian Institute of Banking & Finance, an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Australian Human Resources Institute.

In 2012 Avril received the Coaching Leadership Award at the Global HR Excellence Awards in Mumbai, India. In April she was invited to attend a global Leadership Best Practices program at Harvard Business School in the USA, and was requested by her class mates to speak at the closing dinner. She has been honoured in the Australian Who’s Who of Women for the past 4 years, as an inspiring businesswoman, and has been nominated 7 times for the Telstra Businesswoman of the Year. In 2006, Avril won the prestigious Lifetime Achievement in HR Award at the Australian Human Resources Awards, and has been a finalist for Best HR Director.

Avril is regularly featured on radio and TV, and contributes articles to several industry publications and newspapers. For 2 years she had a weekly radio program with the ABC as their resident expert on workplace relations and HR, which was broadcast to 16 countries in Asia. She is the author and co-author of several books on leadership and the different generations at work, and in 2010 released her first children’s book. Her latest book, “Leadership Revelations II How Australians Lead in Crises” was released in May 2012, and in December it topped the Australian Financial Review BOSS magazine’s best brain food books of 2012.

Peter is a recognised thought leader and practitioner in innovation with a particular focus on digital innovation. Although his professional training was as a Chartered Accountant, Peter started working with internet technologies in 1993 while in the UK and on his return to Australia in 1996 founded an eBusiness Consulting group within Deloitte Australia. Peter was also the CEO of the Eclipse Group, a Deloitte subsidiary that was one of Australia’s largest web and mobile development firms, from 2003 to 2008 and then founded Deloitte Digital, a business pioneering the delivery of professional services online. Peter has been the Chairman of Deloitte’s Innovation Council since 2004 and been involved in numerous innovation projects for Deloitte and clients over the course of his career.

Peter is a sought after speaker and media commentator both locally and internationally and has worked with boards and senior executives of many companies helping them understand and adapt to the rapidly changing digital environment. Peter is the obvious person to lead the newly formed Australian chapter of the Centre for the Edge, a Silicon Valley Applied Research Centre chaired by two technology luminaries John Hagel III and John Seely Brown. The Centre’s mission is to identify and explore emerging opportunities related to big shifts that aren’t yet on the senior management agenda, but ought to be. While it is focused on long-term trends and opportunities, it is equally focused on implications for near-term action, the day-to-day environment of executives.

Peter is an Adjunct Professor at RMIT and a board member of Circus Oz.

Laurel Papworth is a dynamic, fun presenter who was named in 2012 by Forbes magazine in the Top 50 Social Media Influencers globally, and Marketing Magazine named her “Head of Industry, Social Media”. She has consulted globally including with Singapore Government and Middle East Broadcasting, and in Australia, with Westpac, Sony, local, State and Federal Government.

Laurel is the CEO of The Community Crew managing massive gaming and online communities including Facebook and forums for reality TV shows such as Junior Masterchef. Since 2005, Laurel has been teaching online community management at the University of Sydney, Australian Film and TV School, Metro Film School and she has been managing virtual communities since 1989.

In the last few months Laurel has appeared on Finance Quarter, Lateline, 7:30 Report, Midday Report ABC, and in the Australian Financial Review, The Australian, Radio National and other media channels. AdAge named in the Top 150 Media Bloggers, and she is on Google’s Plus Recommended List.

Interestingly Laurel has a level 85 Fire Mage in World of Warcraft and can often be found there running screaming from monsters.
