London - Hanoi
Hanoi – Hoa Binh Upon on arrival at Hanoi airport, we transfer 2 hours to our hotel in Hoa Binh. This afternoon we will do a bike fitting
before the welcome dinner and briefing.
Hoa Binh - Mai ChauApprox. 70kmWe start cycling from our hotel in a beautiful valley surrounded by
spectacular karst rock formations and picturesque rice paddies. We bike through villages and across rice paddies to Lac village. Overnight in Mai Chau
Mai Chau - Puluong Nature ReserveApprox. 75kmWe commence cycling in the outstanding valley of Mai Chau dotted with Thai
and Muong villages between rice terrace paddies. We ride on the mix single track paths that link one village to another. You may observe how peaceful villages are in the morning. We ascend through Puluong nature reserve to admire breath taking in the scenery, the limestone mountain and Puluong’s panoramic beauty. We will have lunch at Pho Doan local market.
Puluong Nature Reserve – Cuc Phuong Approx. 98 km (exact distance tbc - optional transfer can be included)The big day starts from our hotel. We
cycle along the country road to the rice paddy with stunning views on the way and the lush green and the limestone mountain into Cuc Phuon. Dinner and overnight in a beautiful resort in Cuc Phuong.
After lunch we ride on mix tarmac road, buffalo trail, under shade of bamboo forest to Nu Village . Dinner and overnight in Puluong .

Cuc Phuong - Hai Phong Approx. 75km We will start our day cycling on the countryside road’s, onto Hoa Lu – an
ancient citadel from the 10th century. Then we continue our riding through the limestone peaks to Tam Coc, passing rice paddies and through the rural villages. We will end our beautiful day at the lunch stop and then transfer to Haiphong city. Dinner and overnight in Hai Phong.
Hai Phong - Halong Bay Approx. 70kmOur last cycling day! Crossing the Binh bridge we will cycle along the tiny
concrete road getting deeper into the village to see and understand more about the local living life. Then we’ll cross on the local Rung ferry to another city. We will continue to cycle to Halong. The cycling day will end at the junction with the main highway to Halong.
Day 8: Halong - Hanoi
Free morning, with an optional boat trip in Halong Bay, one of the Seven World Wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage
Site, and a popular travel destination. You will embark the boat for a cruise around this magnificent bay and see the thousands of islands that jut out of the sea in this spectacular natural environment. The main cave of the cruise trip will be Thien Cung Cave (Heavenly Palace Grotto), located on a remote island in the bay.
We continue to cruise to the southern part of the Bay, where we will admire the view of many strange-shaped islands. Enjoy the seafood lunch while cruising back to the pier.
Or enjoy a free morning at your leisure.
At 12 PM we check out before our transfer to Hanoi for the night.
