RS Activation steps: 1.Find and download Hex Editor XVI32;
2.Download as example and install RS Linx 2.58 from:
https://rapidshare.com/files/1151978796/RSLinx_V2.58.00.zip Beware:
Before saving any changes in the archives, please make a copy of
back-up by creating a new folder in the place of original and
saving them. Just in case of a problem, you can detect what was
changed and back to the origi nal; It is possible you might not be
able to modify the files by problems of authoris ation, etc. In
this case you instead of you click save (by changing the file),
click Save as ..., save in another location. After installing the
software you want to activate, stop the service FactoryTalk
Activation Services (Windows Task Manager >Services); only edit
the file Hexadecimal when the service described above is fully
closed, including the RSLinx; THE license file can be any file name
with extension LIC ,i.e. ROCKWELL.LIC 3. After completing the above
steps, start the XVI 32 and open the file: FILE > OPEN >
C:Program Files 4. With flexsvr.exe opened in HEXEDIT, go in Search
> Find and search for : 55 8B JV 83 E4 F8 81 JV This sequence
will probably have the address in D150. 5. Change the sequence of
the following way: in Address D150 the sequence of : 55 8B JV 83 E4
F8 81 JV with: 33 C0 40 89 45 C F 48 C3 (attention with the C0 and
40, they are C Zero and 4 Zero respectively). 6. After the
amendment to the 5-th step, save the file according to the above co
nsiderations. Do not forget to remove this folder the original
file. TO ACTIVATE THE RSLINX 2.58 WHICH HAS ALREADY BEEN INSTALLED.
7. Open with the Hexedit the archive RSwd32.dll Go into FILE >
OPEN >C:Program F iles (x86)Rockwell SoftwareRSlinx RSwd32.dll
Already did the back up? Look at the hints above??. 8. Go into
Field > Go To >and select the option Hexadecimal . Selects in
Go Mode option the Absolute. Type the address : FC339 (it must be
so in the field: $FC339) Click OK. (At this moment you will see
that he was up to the address you request ed and will be selected a
"cell" with the number 34 and to the right side the nu mber 02). 9.
Change the number 34 to 30 and 02 to 90. After the change save the
file. Do n ot forget to remove this folder the original file. If
you have problems with Sav e,see the beginning of this tutorial.
10. Go into the folder where is the activation file.LIC that
normally is in C:\U sers\Public\Documents\Rockwell\ 11. Open with
NotePad (Notepad) file FtaSystem .LIC file (in the case of my Wind
ows 7 Ultimate 64-bit) 12. Note that already has something written
in this file, click at the end of wh at is already written, ENTER,
copy and paste the content below: RSLINX 2.58 Quote: FEATURE

After these changes, you can through the FactoryTalk Activation
Services for ser vice "run" again and enter the FactoryTalk
activation software Manager, go into the Advanced tab and click
Refresh. Or inicialise the PC. Easier. You will see the activation
of the software running For other software, you must follow the
procedure from step 7. Be aware that som e.Dll are in folders other
than those that the logic says. Follow some of the files and other
