After this date, requests for room reservations will be accepted only if rooms are available and at the prevailing rate. TSGE has a special room rate of $199 plus tax for singles and doubles. Room rates do not include tax.

Special ConsiderationsWe do try to control the temperature in the meeting room, but for your comfort, please bring a jacket.
RegistrationAdvance registration for the meeting and all events is important. The registration fee includes access to all lectures and exhibits, continental breakfasts and lunch. The deadline for advance registration is September 1, 2017 to ensure participation in social events and meal functions. TSGE must receive notice of cancellation for refund postmarked no later than September 1, 2017. A $25 fee will be deducted from the registration fee paid to cover processing charges. Non-attendance does not constitute notice of cancellation. Partial registration is not offered.

Business MeetingSaturday’s business luncheon will feature a brief TSGE business meeting. The society will also present the Marcel Patterson – Robert Nelson award to one of its most esteemed members.
Continuing Medical EducationThis activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accrediation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Texas Medical Association (TMA) and the Texas Society for Gastroenterology and Endoscopy. The Texas Medical Association is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Texas Medical Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 10.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Target AudienceThe target audience is gastroenterologists, endoscopists, GI nurses, technicians, physician assistants and others who treat patients for gastrointestinal conditions.
EthicsThe presentation on Saturday, Sept. 23rd fulfills 1 hour of the ethics and/or professional responsibility hour required for Texas licensure.
Continuing Nursing Education This activity has been submitted to Montana Nurses Association for approval to award contact hours. Montana Nurses Association is accredited with distinction as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Attention Fellows! Housing StipendThe TSGE offers a generous housing stipend to all fellows who attend the meeting. Each fellow who applies for the stipend will be presented with a housing stipend reimbursement form upon check-in. This form should be filled out and returned to the TSGE registration desk or business office within a week of the meeting. Each fellow will have one night reimbursed in the host hotel or an equivalent hotel AND up to a $200 travel stipend.
BSC Fellows Endoscopy Course with Hands-on StationsBoston Scientific will be hosting a didactic and hands on education program Friday, September 22nd at 5:15 pm. The event is welcome to any 3rd or 4th year fellow. Dinner will be provided. Please RSVP using the registration form.
