C O N F E R E N C E AT A G L A N C EBoth conference mornings begin with plenary sessions for everyone to attend. Beth Mount will inspire us on Monday morning speaking about promoting positive futures for people with disabilities and those who support them. On Tuesday morning, Commissioner Howe will hold a town hall meeting to hear from DSPs with time for answering your questions. On Tuesday afternoon, Amy Hewitt will talk about the professionalism of direct support work and opportunities to advocate for your profession in solidarity.

Amy is a national leader with 25 years as a researcher and author. She led the team that developed the College of Direct Support, a national curriculum used by 180,000 DSPs.

Elin Howe has served as Commissioner since July 1, 2007 and will conduct an open question and answer exchange with direct support professionals.

Over her 30 years of advocacy, Beth founded 2 companies to promote person centered planning and service design. She uses art to inspire people with disabilities and their allies.
