Observe all warning signs and danger notices.

Don’t leave a hole unguarded so that someone could fall through. Report it your supervisor of foreman

Never play practical jokes distract others while working.

Do not work at heights if you feeling weak or dizzy

Never do anything that is likely to endanger yourself or orher

Be extra cautions when conditions are wet.

Do not throw debris from any height. Ensure that debris gose down the right chute

If possible, secure both the top andbottom of a ladder before use. The ladder should extend at least I metre

above the platform it leads to.

All injuries sould be attendend to immediately. Seek help if you are in doubt

Never store materials on platforms or gangways. Gangways and staircases are for access only. Never

obstruct them with equipment or materials.

Ensure that lplatforms and gangways have secure guard raily and toe boards.

Do not use platforms or gangways that are damaged or insecure. Report the damaged to your supervisor or

foreman

Where material must be stacked make sure that they are stacked on a firm and level base and in a tidy

manner.

Where lighting in staircases is insufficient report it to your supervisor or foreman. If you cannot see where

you”re going get adequate lighting first.

When hanling materials into the building at the edge a floor, make sure a secure guard rail is in place and

make use of your safety belt.

Safety belts, safety helmets, protective goggles, instrutrial gloves and gloves and other equipment are

for your protection, Use them

Do not use equipment you have no knowledge or have not been instructed how to operate.

Do not stand beneath any suspended load.




Do not tamper with any electrical wirings

Do not remove any shoring or struts unless instructed to do so. Reports to

your supervisor or foreman should you notice any shift in position of shoring
