1. Entry of New Wagon:

Additional Information for Wagon Manufacturing date and commissioningDate is captured in Wagon Master Entry Screen

Updation of the above fields for the existing wagons. For BV, these are

mandatory and for others the same is optional.

2. Color indicator for CC6+2/CC8+2 added in Train Arrival Screen.

3. Color indicator for restricted Demand in Demand registration screen with option toview the applicable restrictions on the restricted demands.

4. Loco Reporting:Option to View next schedule details for locos added.

TMS

S No Task / Queries1. A new MIS report containing details of Siding charges collected along with

Freight as an annexure of Station Balance Sheet.

The same are available at the following path in the TMS Application

Main Menu Query Charges Balance Sheet Siding Charges Collected

with Freight.

2. Adjustment of Freight: Checks and Validations on Application.

The following changes are made in the FOIS/TMS Application:

i. The "Loading Confirm" task is moved to "Distribution Of Weight" Query

to ensure that the field user has seen and verified the wagon wise weightdetails along with POL details before Loading Confirm and RR Generation.

ii. Viewing of "Expected Freight" Query is made mandatory before RR

Generation. Unless and until the field user verify the freight Details in the

"Expected Freight" Query, the RR cannot be generated in the system.

3. Modification in Service Tax Module of Freight.


i. The accrual of Service Tax is removed from the RR Generation Task.

ii. The Expected Freight Query Screen is modified to show the applicable

Service Tax with Break-up before RR Generation.

iii. The collection screen is modified to show the Total Freight calculated by the

TMS Application (and the Freight Adjustment reported by the field userthereon), the Applicable Service Tax (with Break-up) and the Final Freight

amount to be collected from the Customer to the field user.

iv. In case of Epayment Transaction, an intermediate screen is developed to

show the Total Freight calculated by the TMS Application (and the Freight

Adjustment reported by the field user thereon), the Applicable Service Tax

(with Break-up) and the Final Freight amount to be collected from the

Customer to the field user. Once the field user selects the Collection Option,

the amount shall be collected from the Customer A/c.

v. The Service Tax is not being made a part of the Freight in all purposes

except for collection.

vi. Balance Sheet Query is modified to show the Service Tax separately in the

Accrual Section (Left Side) without including the same in the Freight Details.

vii. All the Queries/Reports showing the Total Freight amount are being

modified to show the Service Tax component separately and a final freight

amount.The following Tasks and Queries available in FOIS/TMS Application are modified:

a. Paid RR Generation and collection at Originating Station.

b. Epayment RR Generation and collection at Originating Station.

c. To Pay RR Generation at Originating Station.

d. Conversion of Paid RR to To-pay RR.

e. Collection of freight charges in Delivery Book (Normal Delivery Book and

Memo Delivery Book) at Destination Station.

Queries

a. Outward Outward Register

b. Outward List of Invoice

c. Outward Loading Weighment in POL

d. Outward Freight Details

e. Outward Conversion from Paid to To Pay

f. Inward Railway Material Consignment

g. Inward Consignment Due(NOH)

h. Charges Balance Sheet

i. Charges Cash Register

j. Charges MPA Details

4. Modification in Money Receipt (MR) Application.


i. MR Number shall not be taken as input from the field user.ii. MR Number shall be generated automatically by the application and

shown to the user in the MR Screen, which can be noted by the field user

on the Physical (Manual) MR for reference.

iii. The format of the MR Number shall be // like /2013/00001.

iv. The 5 digit running number shall be reinitialized in every calendar year.

v. All the MR Collection (except RR) shall be on this new functionality.

vi. In the Cash Register Query where all the details of the MRs issued at a

location are shown for a date or period, the option for the User to select an

MR and Print the details of the same with number of copies and selecting

the Printer option is provided.

The following Tasks and Queries available in FOIS/TMS Application are modified:TASKs

a. Forwarding Note Registration after WRF Collection.

b. Collection of WRF in the case of Premium Customer at the time of

Demand/Fnot cancellation.

c. Delivery Book at Destination during Freight/Undercharge Collection

d. Collection of Local Charges - against Invoice

e. Collection of Local Charges - against Customer

f. Collection of Demurrage

g. Collection of Demurrage for Steel Plant

h. Collection of Wharfage

i. Collection of Diversion Fees

j. Collection of Bill

k. Collection to opening of Lumpsum Account

l. Collection to replenish existing Lumpsum Account

m. Collection of debited freight and local charge amount against invoice -Forced Credit/Debit.

Queries

a. Charges Cash Register Print MR for Printing of MR Details

b. Charges Money Receipt Details Print MR for Printing of MR

Details

5. The module for reporting of Damage & Deficiency Message (DD Message),

Assessment Report and generation of Missing Goods Report (MGR) is

developed in the FOIS/TMS Application. Please refer to the respective files

of DD Message and MGR for more details and reporting in the application.

6. FOIS/TMS Application is modified to accrue and collect the applicable

Service Tax on WRF/Demurrage/Wharfage Charges at the time of collection

of all these charges. Please refer to the Service Tax on WRF/DC/WC file for

more details.

7. Printing and Customized Printing Option provided in Cash Register Query.
