Comprehension


I decided to spend the holiday with my uncle in China. Our tour began on the first of

July. When we first landed in Beijin Airport, we were warmly welcomed by my uncle's

friends. We stayed at a hotel near the university of communication in the capital.

China is a wonderful country that has a large population. It is the first country in the

world in the number of people that's why the streets and roads are so crowded. Mostly, people

use bicycles and motorbikes to move.

We enjoyed out tour there so much and did many lovely things. There are a lot of

famous things such as; the Great Wall, caves, temples, forts, mosques and museums. We also

enjoyed the nice Chinese food and various festivals.

At the end of our tour, we enjoyed shopping some presents for our families and friends.

After a month, we got back home pleased and happy.

One evening , Mr Adly and his wife , Mona , were sitting quietly in the sitting room .

They were both busy reading books. Suddenly, they heard a loud noise .They couldn`t tell

where the noise was coming from . So , Mona ran quickly to the bedroom where her child

was sleeping . She thought that their small cat might have jumped on the bed and waken him.

But luckily , she found the child still lying in bed with his cat under it . Then , she hurried to

the kitchen .There , she found a huge cat standing on the table where she had kept the glass of

milk she had prepared for her child . This cat got in from outside through the window . After

drinking all the milk , she dropped the glass and it broke .On seeing Mona , the huge cat felt

afraid and hurried out.
