OUR MISSION
Who are we?
Zonitise is a science-based microbial control company operating throughout the UK with certified personnel and specialist environmentally friendly antimicrobial coatings to keep surfaces and areas permanently sanitised 24/7 for up to one year per application.
As a leader in the field, Zonitise antimicrobial coatings use safe and proven non-leaching, nano technology to bond to the surfaces as an invisible coating, and are constantly active to kill harmful micro-organisms such as viruses, bacteria, fungi and mould. Our products are ISO’d and independently laboratory tested to 40,000 cleaning cycles, and once applied will give a constantly self sanitising surface for complete peace of mind for up to 1 year per application.
At Zonitise our reason for being
is to reduce the risk of cross
contamination on surfaces we
come in touch with. So our
mission is simple:
Keep People Healthy.
THE PROBLEM WITH
TRADITIONAL
CHEMICALS AND
CLEANING REGIMES
For years, the typical protocols around cleaning and
sanitising hasn’t changed, and in many cases harmful and
toxic chemicals such as ammonia, chlorine bleach and
peroxides are used in cleaning regimes for disinfecting.
Whilst many of these products are effective when in their
wet state, as soon as the surfaces are dried or wiped, the
surfaces can soon become a hotbed for bacterial growth
meaning that between cleaning cycles the surface can
become dangerously contaminated. This is shown on the
graph on the following page.
Another alarming fact is that very often the laboratory
recommended dwell times for disinfectants to be effective
in killing bacteria and viruses is between 2 and 10
minutes – when was the last time you saw a cleaner spray
a surface and leave for 10 minutes before wiping clean?

GRAPH SHOWING THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A ZONITISE COATED SURFACE AND A SURFACE CLEANED TRADITIONALLY
This orange part of this graph shows how
micro organisms (Bacteria/Viruses) can
grow and multiply on a surface at a rapid
rate between cleaning/disinfecting cycles.
With Zonitise anti-microbial coatings, the
surface stays at safe levels due to the fact
that the surface is constantly active to
destroy all micro-organisms that come in
touch with it. After any reasonable period
of time where there is no human contact,
Zonitise antimicrobial coatings have been
proven to virtually eliminate all traces of
bacteria.
Zonitise Anti-microbial treatments can
remain active for up to 1 year per
application!
THE ZONITISING PROCESS
Our Zonitising Process is an antimicrobial treatment program that incorporates testing and
certification to reduce and control the presence of harmful microbes and unpleasant
odours where you live, work, and play. Our products and services are grounded and
warranted in an eco-conscience platform and we stand by our product’s efficacy in helping
you maintain facilities that are safe, healthy and sanitary.
Our first step is to Test the surfaces in your facility and produce a Bionomic Report. We
use healthcare grade specialist ATP luminometers to swab the surfaces and report on the
level of bacteria present prior to any treatment.
The next steps involve a 2 stage treatment using Zonitise Anti-microbial products. We use
a cleaner and degreasing polymer initially to ensure the surfaces/touchpoints are ready
for the final Zonitise barrier coating which will remain constantly active against bacteria
and viruses for up to 1 year. Typically these 2 coatings are applied electrostatically for full
coverage, but on smaller areas can be applied using specialist microfibre buffing pads.
Our final step is to once again test the surface after a week or 2 from the treatment to
verify that the product is working. We will report on the efficacy of the treatment and the
improvements in the bacteria loading in the Bionomic report and issue a dated certificate
for your facility to display to give your customers and staff the peace of mind that the
surfaces are as safe as they can be.
ZONITISE BIONOMIC ASSESSMENT REPORT AND CERTIFICATION
For every Zonitise application
we will provide a Zonitise
certificate of application together
with a before and after bionomic
report showing how the
antimicrobial coating has
improved the bacteria levels on
the surfaces
Our Warranty
Many clients enter an annual rolling contract
(minimum of 2 treatments) whereby as part of
the service agreement our specialist teams will
regularly monitor and report back on ATP
bacteria levels, so that you can be assured that
the surfaces in your facility are as safe as they
can be.
And if the product fails to perform as we
warrant, we will re-apply at our own cost.
