REMS Grant Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools

REMS Grant Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools Grant provided $1,000 that was used as a donation to the Quarryville Fire Company for its extensive involvement in the tabletop exercise and participation in the Quarryville Elementary School drill on November 5, 2010.

REMS Grant Readiness and Emergency Management for Schools Provide training to key staff members to improve each districts all-hazards plan.Complete a needs assessment to show areas of strengths and weaknesses in our All-Hazards Plan and make changes to improve the plan.Establish an Incident Command Team at each district to allow for effective decision-making in a time of crisis and its aftermath.Each district will work with and coordinate efforts with local law enforcement and first responders.
