Vista Maria (no result) officers noted that other parked vehicles in area belong to residents.

Myself and D/Sgt. Wengrowski then responded to WC M.E., Dr. Kesha examined decedent

McBride and stated it was a homicide, McBride was shot at close range. (

D/Lt. Serwatowski was phoned imm ediately and ran the 2004 Taurus Mlj( he Taurus showed impounded (case #1311020063) by DPD for a hit and run

(Crash report case #256923) that occurred at Bramell n/o W arren Ave. in Detroit, about 0130

a.m. this morning. Report indicated 2004 Taurus struck a parked car: the lone, young, BF driver

attempted to start vehicle, then exited it an walked away.

I interviewed the following on Bramell street in the a.m. and requested statements as well:

struck by Victim's Taurus. Both heard loud crash and Victim exited her Taurus (airbags

had deployed) alone (wearing jeans and a hoodie)and walked a way, then came back, tried to

drive away, and then walked South on Bramell turned East and rounded corner of W arren Ave .

relates that she was seated in her parked car in the street when driver McBride) drove her

Taurus at a high rate of speed and struck the neighbors parked car. flHHBcame out upon

on her left hand from crash BJ^offered help as McBride did not have/produce a cell phone; but

McBride walked away, came back and then walked away South on Bramell, turned east and

rounded corner of Warren on North side of street).
