Customer ResponsibilityRented equipment is the responsibility of the customer until it is returned and accepted by Carr Rental. In case the equipment is lost or damaged in any way, the customer will be charged the full replacement or repair cost in addition to the rental cost.

depositAll customers are required to leave a credit card deposit. There is no actual charge to the credit card account unless it is the method of payment authorized by the cardholder. We verify that the account is open and active. If a customer has an in-store account and it is in good standing, the signers on that account may rent equipment with no deposit.

reservationsA 14-day-in-advance reservation is required by Massachusetts law.

Set-upIt is the responsibility of the customer to have the desired set-up spot cleared and accessible at all times. If we are unable to pick up an item due to innaccessibility, the item will be charged accordingly.

Does Carr Hardware have insurance?YES! Carr Hardware is fully insured with a liability insurance policy. A copy of our insurance policy binder is available upon request. A service charge applies to those wishing to be named additionally insured. A fee is due and payable once any certificate is requested whether or not the rental occurs, A $25 fee is due for proof of insurance certificate if the rental is cancelled.

How Much Room do I need?A 20’ x 20’ area should be plenty of room for a standard bounce; other units may require more space. The area should be level, free of rocks and sticks, and away from safety hazards. Any in-ground sprinkler system should be shut off and not protruding. Every inflatable has different space requirements. Many are listed on the webpage that contains a larger size picture of the unit. Please call if you have any questions.

Who sets up the bounces & inflatables?We set up the bounces or inflatables and take it down when we come to pick it up. If tehre are any large hills, we may ask you for a bit of help to go up the hill with our hand truck.

We ask that if you are done with the unit before we pick it up, that you leave it plugged in. We must inflate the unit to do an inspection and a preliminary cleaning.

How does the inflatable unit stay inflated?We set up the unit and inflate with a fully enclosed blower motor unit that must stay on the entire time the unit is in use. The design of the blower is such that no moving parts are exposed. This is a very important safety feature that you should take into account whenever considering a rental. The blower unit must be located within 100 feet of an electrical outlet. The outlet must be a GFCI, also called a ground fault.
