The Community Center at South Slope is a unique, modern, and beautiful setting for a variety of different events. Located conveniently just off Interstate 380 in North Liberty, the space is available for morning, mid-day, and evening use and is ideal for:

- weddings - corporate events

- fundraisers

- banquets - outdoor parties

- seminars

- receptions- company meetings

- school events

SOUTH SLOPE Community Center Rental Fees{ }Pricing InformationSouth Slope’s facilities are available for both full day and half day rentals. The indoor and outdoor areas are included in the rental fee. The pricing details are as follows:

Community Center:

Weekend rental: (12:00pm Friday - 2:00am Sunday) Members*: $1700.00 $700.00 deposit Non-members: $1800.00 $700.00 deposit Half day rental: (available only for corporate meetings) Rental fee: $500.00 No deposit required

*Member is defined as a person who has any communications service with South Slope (i.e. phone, internet, tv).


Rental Information{ }Renter Information In order to reserve a date, guests must submit a deposit with their contract. Deposits will be refunded to guests upon South Slope’s determination of satisfactory clean up and damage assessment.

Full payment of rental fee is due two weeks prior to your event. If South Slope does not receive payment, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. Deposits will not be refunded.

South Slope requires each guest to make arrangements for room cleanup. We will provide guests with our required cleaning service during consultation.

South Slope is a wine and beer only facility. Wine and beer are permitted at our facility; however, guests are required to follow all state laws regarding the distribution of alcohol including but not limited to: Liquor License, Dram Shop license, security guards, bartenders, etc. For more information about South Slope’s alcohol policy, please ask the Community Center coordinator.

South Slope staff will not be present at your event - we will provide assistance up to the event date and will ensure that our guests are comfortable with all aspects of event execution at our facility.

Guests will need to make arrangements for any chairs or tables used outdoors. South Slope’s coordinator will gladly assist guests with suggestions regarding vendors.

Venue Layout{ }The Community Center space can accommodate up to 250 seated guests. Numerous seating and table layouts work beautifully in the room, including wedding reception, banquet style seating, meeting style, and more. Our coordinator will assist each guest with the development of a detailed event floor plan that will best suit each occasion. South Slope’s team will set up and tear down the tables and chairs before and after each event.
