We are also happy to announce that Windows on Aruba is reopening for Saturday and Sunday brunch starting Father’s Day weekend. It’s great to see locals excited to get back to the new normal and venture out for dining. In fact, we’ve already sold out on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21. Chef Darwin Torres and his talented team have created a fresh and flavorful menu with new dishes and a few old favorites. The Beach Bar, across the street from Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort, has also reopened and has once again become a popular spot for locals.
We know that shopping for souvenirs and unique crafts on our islands is a favorite activity for guests, so we’ve rounded up a few of the most sought after island gifts.
Plus, we have yet another tropical cocktail for you to try! The Prikichi Shine was one of five cocktails to win our 50th anniversary drink challenge last year, and it truly captures the sweet taste of the islands.

WINDOWS ON ARUBA REOPENS FOR BRUNCH
A local and guest favorite, our beloved Windows on Aruba restaurant is reopening for brunch on Saturday, June 20 and Sunday, June 21, just in time for Father’s Day weekend. Famous for its exceptional Sunday brunch, Windows has been voted the number one brunch restaurant on Aruba for many years.
Located on the second floor of Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort’s clubhouse, this restaurant boasts stunning 180° views of the golf course and the ocean beyond.
Windows on Aruba’s brunch offers one seating from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a decadent à la carte menu featuring perfectly sized breakfast favorites and flavorful brunch dishes carefully crafted by Executive Chef Darwin Torres. Aruba It’s the oldest aloe company in the world and it’s located right in the heart of Aruba. Hailing from Stratham, New Hampshire, Derek and Mila Najarian have been President’s Elite members for several years, having previously been a part of Divi’s Timeshare Ownership weeks program at Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort. We had the pleasure of chatting with the happy couple to learn what made them convert to the Divi Vacation Club, and what keeps them coming back to Aruba year after year.
“We were initially approached years ago by a representative on the street” explained Derek. “We had already researched hotels and locations, and we were impressed with Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort. On our timeshare tour, we appreciated the honest, no-pressure approach of our sales representative, as well as the company’s integrity and the incredibly beautiful location. Believe it or not, what cemented the deal was the price of a Patron Silver Margarita! The price at that time was $8 when everywhere else was charging $16! That price difference really stood out to us.”
Since then, the Najarians have continued to return to Aruba twice a year and decided to up their vacation game to three times a year in 2017, when they converted their weeks to flexible points and become members of the Divi Vacation Club.
“We lost nothing and gained everything we needed,” explained Mila. “We can now come in March, September and December, travel mid-week, add more nights to each trip, and travel to other Divi resorts destinations in the future.”
“We’ve never been disappointed in all the years we’ve been coming here,” Mila continued. “Our goal on vacation is to relax and unwind from the pressures of work, and usually about an hour after arriving, we hit the beach and instantly feel right at home. Plus, each time we visit, we’re greeted by our favorite staff members who always remember our names, and the service is exceptional. We also really enjoy meeting other owners, members and guests because everyone is so friendly.”

Ingredients:
1/4 cup Pineapple Juice
1/4 cup Orange Juice
1 1/4 oz. Vodka
1/2 oz. Malibu Rum
1 oz. Blue Curaçao
Crème de Banana
Ice
Instructions:Add Blue Curaçao and ice to a poco grande glass or similar style cup.
In a cocktail shaker, combine orange juice, pineapple juice, vodka, Malibu Rum and 1/2 cup ice.
Shake vigorously and strain into your glass.
Slowly top off your drink with crème de banana.
