Liz Pike is inviting the public to attend an old fashioned Barn Party and Ice Cream Social on Thursday, October 12th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Rietdyk’s historic barn, 512 NW Carty Road, Ridgefield, Washington 98642. The event is a meet and greet ahead of Liz Pike’s 2018 Clark County Council Chair race. “I’m excited to share a new vision for Clark County with area residents,” said Pike. “I grew up here and I love this community. However, we are at a fork in the road. We can continue to be a bedroom community to Portland or we can make Clark County the most job friendly place in the metropolitan area,” said Pike. “We have all the ingredients to grow a world class economy and maintain our quality of life. Let’s cut the red tape and work at the speed of business. Every citizen should have the opportunity to work where they live. This will be my top priority as your County Council Chair,” said Pike.
