A preHainary prograa of collecting hora* geochea amaplea in
order to see Jf the aucvey would work was carded oat by Loydex
Reaources Inc. dating the period October 21 - 23, 1985. The
survey was carded out on daias SSM 710635, SSM 710637, SSM

HOMOS GEOCHBMCAL SP R VE Y i
Samples of humus were caQected every 25 meters on a gdd
system (400 foot gdd) wherever samples of merit were available.
The main purpose of the aurvey was to concentrate on the known
geld showing and its immediate area in order to see if the survey
would be of value for the entire grid. Unfortunately, by the time
results were received, snow covered the daima. Results from the
aurvey indicate that the entire gdd ahould be humus sampled during
the coming winner. Several anomalous amis, other than the known
gold showing, have been indicated by the aurvey.
RESOLTS OP HUMUS GEOCHEM SURVEY;
Results over the gold showing are anomalous in gold which is
encouraging since the preliminary program was performed to
establish the usefulness of the survey. As a result of the limited
survey over the Sif portion of the claim group, three (3)
were slightly higher in ppb Au than background values.
(3)
RESULTS OF HP M US GEOCHBM SO R VE Y Con*fa
Area fi is located on line 20 W station BL to O -f 2SN. This
location is along strike with the main gold showing and as such
requires further investigation during the summer. The highest
reading occurs at the baseline (18 ppb Au). The main showing
on line 32 W station l * 75H has a high reading of 425 ppb Au.
Area f 2 is located on line 28N station l * 75S to l * 25S with
the Mghast reading at l * 508 (32 ppb Au). Thfe area connects to
the west with another anomalous area 400 feet to the
Area f 3 is located on line 44N station l * 25S to O * 75S with
the highest reading occurring at l -f DOS (7.3 ppb Au). This area
requires fm liter investigation .
Areas 12 and 13 are located in mafic volcanics wheteas Ares
fi is darfrir tuff which is slmfliar uo the main showing.
CONCLUSION!
The humus geochem survey as outlined in the preliminary
survey has been shown to work and should be completed on the rest
of the claim group. Three (3) new areas have been rfiown to be
anomalous and require further investigation.
(4)
RECOMMENDATIONS*
Complete the hcunua geochem survey over the remaining portion
d the gdd left, untested aa weE aa man suipUng on a tighter grid
(200 foot) along the dacite mafic contact aa outlined on the
geological """p.
Prospecting the three (3) anoaalcua areaa aa weH aa
le-eampling these anas in order to re-check previous ppb Au
values.
