A dark and dreary morning

Tierra starts excavating while Shane readiesthe Notepad

The area of 6N1E that Brian can dig becomes smaller.

Lunch is taken in the shelter, with,

Professor J. hiding out in the back room

After lunch it was a little brighter. . .

Yvonne and Jake become terminally bothered by the tree in the middle of their pit, so out it comes!

To be hauled away by Professor J.

That makes life much easier!

And by day’s end, the tree is all gone.

Meanwhile, screening continues. . .

6N1E is closed for the nonce for want of space to dig,

But not before finding another piece of one of the pots uncovered last week.

Unit 6N0E is begun to the west of 6N1E. Although just opened,

A decorated clay pipe bowl is found, possibly the rest of the one found

in 6N1E last week.

At the end of the day 3N2E ‘s floor is covered with rocks

The pits outside of the shelter are covered with plastic until next week.
