MMI Soil Survey 2010 4
Bisley Property
1.0 SUMMARY A soil survey was completed over a part of the Bisley Property in Bisley Township during the fall
of 2010. Forty seven soil samples were collected over 3 lines. The samples were analysed for 53
elements—by SGS Canada Inc. Mineral Services—using the Mobile Metal Ions Technology.
The soil survey was designed as a follow up to a limited MMI soil survey completed in 2006. The
objective was to outline geochemical signatures in soils overlying possible sub cropping gold
deposits.
Low to medium contrast gold soil anomalies were delineated by the survey and are an
indication of underlying bedrock metal enrichment. Follow up MMI soil sampling should be
completed over the entire property before a program of IP surveying and drilling is
implemented.

2.0 INTRODUCTION Soil sampling and analysis were completed during the fall of 2010 with forty seven samples
collected along 3 lines on one claim in Bisley Twp., Ontario. The samples were analyzed by SGS
Minerals Services of Toronto using the Mobile Metal Ion Technology (MMI). The objective of the
survey was to detect and delineate geochemical signatures in soil overlying undiscovered
overburden covered gold deposits. The work was follow up to limited MMI soil sampling by T.
Link in 2006 that was completed up ice of a 1982 OGS reverse circulation drill hole that reported
anomalous gold in the ‐250 mesh fraction of basal till.
3.0 PROPERTY DESCRIPTION AND LOCATION The property is one claim comprised of 9 units, with an area of 144 hectares.
The claim # is 4247586 and the holder is Terry Link. The claim is shown on Figure 3‐1.
The property is located in central Bisley Twp., 19 kilometres NNE of the Town of Kirkland Lake,
in the Larder Lake Mining Division of Ontario. The centre of the property is at Longitude 79.952
W, Latitude 48.323 N. The property location is shown in Figure 3‐2.

1979: OGS completed airborne electromagnetic and magnetic surveys over the area. No
significant EM conductors were detected on the property. Publication # GDS1002.
1982: OGS completed overburden drill hole 82‐19 on the property. Anomalous gold was found
in the basal till (‐0.063 mm sieved whole till). OGS open file report # OFR5456.
1988: Hudson Bay Exploration and Development Company Limited completed ground VLF‐EM
and Magnetic surveys over the property. A number of E‐W striking electromagnetic
anomalies were detected. Some of the anomalies were rated as good conductors. AFRI file #
32D05SW0122.
1992: GSC completed airborne electromagnetic and magnetic surveys over the area. No
significant EM conductors were detected on the property. Publication # GDS1006.
2003: OGS completed airborne electromagnetic and magnetic surveys over the area. No
significant EM conductors were detected on the property. Publication # GDS1044.
2006: T. Link carried out MMI soil sampling along lines 100W and 200W, up ice of gold in till
reported in KLIP overburden drill hole 82‐19. Anomalous Au results from the MMI soil
sampling suggested Au enrichment in the underlying bedrock.

6.0 CURRENT WORK
6.1 MMI Soil Geochemical Survey Forty seven soil samples were collected by Terry Link along lines 250W, 350W and 450W on
October 7, November 8 and November 10, 2010. The lines were laid out N‐S by compass and
measured by hip chain with 25 metre stations flagged with ribbon and marked with station
coordinates and sample numbers. The location of each line was referenced to the UTM grid by
Garmin GPS. The soil samples were collected at the line stations at 25 metre intervals. The
sample locations are shown on the Sample Location Maps in Appendix A. A total of 47 soil
samples—weighing 300 to 400 grams per sample—were collected using a dutch auger at a
depth between 10 and 25 cm below the bottom of the living organics. The samples were placed
in plastic bags on site without preparation and were submitted to SGS Canada Inc Mineral
Services (SGS) of Toronto, Ontario for analysis in 3 batches on October 12, November 12 and
November 16, 2010. Sample descriptions including location, depth and soil type are presented
in table, 2010 Sample Descriptions, in Appendix A.
The MMI analysis measures the metal ions from mineralization that have moved toward the
surface and attached loosely to the surface of soil particles. Using sophisticated chemical
processes and instrumentation, MMI is able to measure these ions, in surface soils, to
determine accurately where buried mineralization is located.
MMI (Mobile Metal Ions) is a proprietary SGS geochemical survey technique used to accurately
locate deep ore deposits at depth. During the MMI lab analysis procedure, SGS uses
sophisticated chemical processes and instrumentation to measure mobile metal ions (charged
metal atoms and molecules) that have migrated into surface soils from mineralization below.
MMI geochemistry strips mobile metal ions from the exterior of soil particles using a partial
dissolution without digesting the soil itself, to measure metal ion concentrations in the parts per
billion range. By measuring only mobile metal ions in surface soils, MMI surveys produce sharp
responses (anomalies) over buried ore deposits. Significant reductions in exploration costs may
be realized as geophysics and drilling can be focused into targeted, prioritized exploration
zones.
The samples collected were analyzed by SGS for 53 elements using the MMI‐M package. The
elements reported are: Ag, Al, As, Au, Ba, Bi, Ca, Cd, Ce, Co, Cr, Cs, Cu, Dy, Er, Eu, Fe, Ga, Gd, Hg,
In, K, La, Li, Mg, Mn, Mo, Nb, Nd, Ni, P, Pb, Pd, Pr, Pt, Rb, Sb, Sc, Sm, Sn, Sr, Ta, Tb, Te, Th, Ti, Tl,
U, W, Y, Yb, Zn and Zr. The MMI analysis data is shown on SGS assay certificates in Appendix A.
6.1.1 Data Treatment and Presentation
Data treatment and presentation follows the methods recommended by SGS for MMI data.
Any data that is less than the lower limit of determination (<LLD) has been replaced with a value
one‐half of the LLD for statistical calculations and graphical representation.
The raw data background value for an element is the arithmetic mean of the lower quartile of
the raw data for that element. The background was calculated using raw data from samples
covered in this report. Raw data background values were calculated for selected elements and
are as follows:
MMI Soil Survey 2010 9
Bisley Property
Table 6‐1: Raw Data Background
Element Raw data background
Ag 0.8 ppb
As 5.0 ppb
Au 0.05 ppb
Ba 533 ppb
Co 31 ppb
Cu 209 ppb
Mo 2.5 ppb
Ni 173 ppb
Pb 33 ppb
U 9.9 ppb
Zn 76 ppb
The response ratio(RR) was calculated by dividing the raw value for the element at each site by
the raw data background value for that element.
6.1.2 Results
Results for selected elements are shown as response ratios in Table 6‐2 below, results for
selected elements are also graphically depicted as charts and plan maps in Appendix A. All raw
data results are shown in assay certificates in Appendix A
For the purpose of interpretation of results the following rating system is used based on other
MMI studies and surveys done in similar glaciated terrain with shallow overburden cover.
– a response ratio of 5 to 20 times background is a low contrast anomalous response
– a response ratio between 20 and 50 times background is a moderate contrast anomalous
response
– a response ratio greater than 50 times background is a high contrast anomalous response
Several response ratios’s for Au and raw data results for Au are low to moderate, are significant
and possibly very significant if the overburden depth is greater than a few metres. The Au
results are the most significant and have a good correlation with the Ag results. Pb and Zn have
elevated response rations but the raw data results are less significant. Cu, Ba, and Co have some
low contrast response ratios but some of the raw assays are somewhat more significant.
Uranium has some low to high contrast response ratios and some low to high raw data results.
The results for As, Mo and Ni are low.
Sample response ratios for 11 elements are shown in Table 6‐2 with response ratios of 5 to 20
highlighted green, 20 to 50 blue and above 50 light red.

7.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS The low to moderate contrast Au anomalies suggest underlying bedrock Au enrichment and are
significant, especially were the overburden may be thicker than a few metres.
MMI soil sampling should be completed over the entire property, followed by IP surveying and
diamond drilling.
