Sector wise Progress of the Projects taken up by the University for the month of April - 2018

Skill Development:- Conducted a 20 day training program for women in tailoring.

Infrastructure:- An amount of Rs. 2.00 lac advanced to PWD for construction of separate toilets for boys and girls in Govt. Sec. School. Green Boards and Cameras including monitor installed in 11 class rooms of the school to facilitate teaching and learning process and to maintain discipline. Repair and painting done in Govt. School, Anganwari Centre and Community Hall.

Electricity:- Provided light connection and electric equipments in Anganwari Centre.

Digital Payment:- To encourage and explain the process of the Digital Payment to villagers and students, a workshop organized under guidance of Bank of Baroda.

Health and Sanitation:- Organized Yoga Camps, villagers were made aware about the benefits of cleanliness and to stop open defecation under SBM.

2 Raj Rishi Bhartrihari Matsya University, Alwar

Organized A Camp for adult literacy and aware them for importance of literacy.

No New Work Has been taken up in the Month of April .

3 Maharaja Surajmal Brij University, Bharatpur

Construction of pathway and fitting of new gate and window in the village hospital has been completed.

Construction of nali both side of the Highway is in progress.

Garbage in front of the school, hospital and along the roadside was removed.

4 Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Bikaner

A gosthie was organized on “Importance of Cleanliness in human health.” The Villagers were made aware about importance of indigenous breeds of cattle.

A medical camp is regularly organizing in the village in every month to provide the medical facilities to the people. Patients of seasonal diseases and other diseases are regularly treating in the camp.

No New Work Has been taken up in the Month of April .

5 Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner

Completed various infrastructural works of Rs. 13.44 lacs, such as construction of boundary wall, repair and painting of Govt. Middle School and community hall. Construction of toilets in School and community hall. Developed playground and provided games material and books for school library in Govt. Upper Primary School with electric connection in school, PHC and community hall.

Provided uniform to the students of Govt. School in the village with an amount of approx Rs. 50,000

Specific Activities

Taken up of month wise specific activities as per calendar issued by Raj Bhawan.

E-initiative:- Provided 4 computers with printer in Govt. Upper Primary School. Computer and internet services are also being provided by University in the School.

Organized Swachh Bharat Campaign as a specific activity for the month.

7 Jagadguru Ramanandacharya Rajasthan Sanskrit University, Jaipur

Yoga camp organized by Yoga Sadhna Kendra of the University on every Saturday morning, In the camp, Youth and elderly people took part and performed Yoga.

Health Check Up Camp organized in the Village. in which the ailing villagers were treated and medicines were provided free of cost by the medical team.

Sanitation campaign was carried out by the students of University, During the campaign road and drains were cleaned, Cutting of trees and earth filling of pits done on every Wednesday and Saturday in Village.

Education An effort was made to create Sanskrit atmosphere in the

village. Selected men, women and children were made aware about the importance of the Sanskrit education. Sanskrit slogans, highlighting Indian Culture and moral values written on the walls. Class 9th and 10th students of the village school were trained in Sanskrit speech.

A Personality development camp for children organized on every Sunday.

Organized Campaign for literacy awareness.

A seminar was organized on protection of seasonal disease.

Organized a Swachhta Programme and lecture under Swachhta Pakhwara.

8 University of Rajasthan, Jaipur

IInd village – Sewapura Aadhar enrollment camp was organized and 37 enrolments

were done.

A discussion held with the female residents of village on

Nutrition value of home grown/made food.

9 Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur

. Special Activities in the month of April 2018:- ICDS Scheme : -

Awareness health talk to mothers of beneficiary children (0-3 years) about the following :-

Importance of balance diet for children. Better utilization of services available at Aaganwadi

Center. Importance of personal hygiene of children in

prevention of illness and how mother should cultivate good health habit children.

Importance of pre-school non-formal education given at Aaganwadi Center in overall development of children.

Awareness health talk to pregnant and Lactating females (beneficiaries) about importance of early ANC registration ANC visits, institutional deliver, TT immunization and immunization of newborn.

Supportive supervision visit by lady supervision (LS) to Anganwadi Center for Capacity building of Aaganwadi worker and helper for better service delivery; better and uniform record keeping and confirm monthly and annual progress reporting.

Awareness health talk to beneficiary children (3-6 years) and their mothers about :-

personal good hygienic habits like daily bathing, regular nail cutting etc.

Smart health app developed by RUHS for smooth & faster surveillance about diseases among the villagers and for their holistic care.

10 Shri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner (Jaipur)

organized One day Cleaning camp by SKN Agriculter University on 19.02.2018 at Atual Sewa Kendra, Idan Ka Bas.

Rabi crop demonstration plots were visited by the university scientists on 16.02.2018 and 19.02.2018.

Farmers of adopted village Idan Ka Bas participated in Kisan Mela-2018 organized by DEE,SKN Agriculture University, Jobner on 27.02.2018 at camps of SKNCOA, Jobner.

E-initiatives:-

Kisan Call Center established.

11 Jai Narayan Vyas University, Jodhpur

Skill development / women empowerment The University has gifted 32 sewing machines to women of the

village to make them economically empowered.

Organized Skill development programme with NSS team along with NSS volunteers.

Health Organized free eye check up camp, more than 50 intraocular

lenses were implanted.

Conducted De-addiction awareness campaign and made the villagers aware about the benefits of De-addiction at Nandra Kalan Village.

Social Reforms and Welfare The NSS Units have time to time, performed nukkad-natak

against social evils like intoxication, female-foeticide,

The University has also gifted 22 tri-cycles to specially abled persons for their easy and smooth movement.

Sanitation Village declared ODF.

The University has provided funds on monthly basis for door to door waste collection vehicle under Swacch Bharat Mission. Nine trash boxes (dustbin) were provided by the university.

The villagers were educated about improvement in the quality of life by promoting cleanliness hygiene, sanitation etc.

CSR University managed to get Rs 98 lakhs from Jodhpur Development Authority for construction of Damar Road and sewage line in the village.

Plantation Plantation drives have been carried out at Local School, Atal

Sewa Kendra and such other places in the village.

Specific Activity:- Organized Specific activities as per calendar issued by Raj Bhawan.

E-initiatives

Promoted cashless transaction and use of ATM/ DABIT/CREDIT card, mobile banking, RTGS, neft etc.

Two Computer Laboratories with 10 Computers were set up as per the commitment. One computer lab established in Govt. Secondary School, for the students, Another one established at Atal Sewa Kendra for the villagers.

Regarding ICDS Services a committee of University representative has been made. Committee member will survey the village according to agenda of ICDS Services E-initiative

Fields visit and interaction with the farmers and group discussion about importance of castor crop and package of practices for cultivation of mustard crop.

13 Sardar Patel Police Security and Criminal Justice University, Jodhpur

Nodal officer visited Panchyat Samiti office in Atal Seva Kendra of Lordi Pandit ji. Nodal officer had discussion with Gram Sevak regarding Camps of Various Govt. Department. (organized in last months and planned to be organized in upcoming month/months) Gram Sevak said that the information along with official Letters in this regard will be made available to SPUP. Nodal officer discussed the status of Sanitation, status of Drinking Water supply and electricity and find the status as Satisfactory.

Nodal Officer also reminded Gram Sevak regarding pendency of pond status & development report for which he assured that it will also be send along with complete detail as soon as possible.

Two Information Assistants have been appointed wide order no. 2383 dated 01.09.2016 for series of lectures on E-literacy and both IAS form SPUP are instructed to take classes.

E- initiatives has been planned. A person has been deputed in the village for this purpose.

17 Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota

Organized a Lecture on prohibition of Child marriage and on the health of boys and girls at Atal Seva Kendra under ICDS programme. In the programme, villagers were apprised of the bad effects of child marriage and inspired them to discreage the practice.

Organized tailoring training workshop in the school for rural girls and women through Entreprenewship and Skill Development Center of the University. In the workshop 31 women benefitted from the braining in two batches.

18 Kota University, Kota

Celebrated Earth Day in the village and explained the importance of Plantation and environment conservation to the villagers.

Started survey of the village based on 25 points of Raj Bhwan and activities will be taken up in the village, in view of the findings of survey report.

Organized Gramin Darshan Programme with coordination of Vikasarth Vidhrathi Sanstha for the students. under the programme the students of the University experienced rural life, Animal rearing, life and cultural values etc.

22 Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur

IInd village Vishma -

Activities of MPUAT 1. Human Resource Development:-

The Nutrition Department of Collage of Home Scince conducted training programme 04.04.2018 for Anganwadi works at Village Vishma and imparted training on nutritious recipes from locally available material. Twenty-two women participated. ph.D. Students also carried out survey on household recipes.

The Nutrition team of the University conducted two training under rheir DST and AICRP programmes for thirty nine anganwadi works at Vishma and Hanyla on 05.08.2018

Two training programme were carried out on 28.04.2018 at Village Vishma and Hanyla in which 27 and 40 farmers and farm women participated. The MPUAT Scientists imparted training on beheading of desi ber plants, establishment of Mango and Guava orchards. Cultivation of summer vegetables like coriander and tuber crops, Ancher making from local mango, activities for SHG women, bio-char and briquette making from farm waste.

The Nutrition Scientists of University imparted training to Anganwadi works at Padrada Raa Anganwadi Kendra on nutrition aspects on 28.04.2018. Twenty-one anganwadi works participated.

2. The Home Scientists of the University interacted with SHG members made by RAJEEVIKA at Village Hanyla and discussed activities that could be initiated from savings.

3. Er. Manjeet Singh, Soli Water Conservation Specialist visited Vishma and Hanyla village and explored the possibility of construction of water harvesting structures on appropriate sides.

4. The Nodal Officer and University Officers attended ‘Jan Sunwai’ programme at Gram Panchayat Vishma on 04.04.2018 The progremme was attended by MLA Sh. Pratap Lal Gameti, Pradhan, Other elected representatives, B.D.O., Tehsildar and Line Department Officials besides large number of villagers. The MLA and other were appraised about the Smart village activities MPAUT is going to ubdertake.

Specific Activity of month (ICDS Services):- The MPUAT Nutrition Department Scientists conducted four training programmes for Anganwadi workers on nutritional aspects in adopted Village.

With these efforts of University, Storage capacity of pond has increased there by conserving more water in the pond. Construction of paal will be taken up after receding of water level.

10 Shri Karan Narendra Agriculture University, Jobner (Jaipur)

Deepening work of pond was initiated. ADM IVth and OIC Development Jaipur was requested by the university to issue sanction and develop the old pond under MNREGS. As informed by the university, District Administration has refused to provide budget for strengthening of old pond. CEO Zila Parishad is ready to provide sanction for the construction of new pond but not for the old one. Since there is no another site available for pond in the village, problem is being faced for construction of new pond. Raj Bhawan requested the collector Jaipur for appropriate action on the University’s proposal. ADM IV has directed CEO Zila Parishad for construction of pond, maintenance and plantation of pond as per rules.

The old pond, which was in dilapidated condition, was renovated. Some renovation works, such as construction of boundary wall, plantation around the wall including cleanliness works were carried out.

Initially the repair work of the pal of pond already available in the village. was proposed to be taken up. Later the idea was dropped due to agitation/ apprehension of the villagers of getting the water polluted by dumping yard of marble slury in the upper stream of the pond. Now the University is concentrating on providing the drinking water facility through PHED out of Rs. 10 lacs sanctioned from MLA fund.

Survania Dam constructed by Water Resources Department in village Sagdod will be developed as a model pond under MG NREGS.
