Indicator 1: An Infrastructure based on partnership and collaboration, governed by a cross-sectional group that is responsible for safety promotion in their community.

“Jinhwa community safety and health promotion center

(JCSHPC)” was founded as the promoting organization

on Nov. 30, 2008.

JCSHPC consists of injury surveillance team, the

Secretariat and 7 working teams.

The operation mold of the centre: working teams hold

meetings irregularly or as needed every work, but

committee meeting to be held every three months.

Disaster Prevention & Vulnerable Group Caring Team

實施成果：（ 1 ） . 建置社區防災避難措施，定期查驗救災物資〈合約超商〉及醫療用品〈社區醫療群〉，並將疏散避難資訊告知社區中的每個家戶。（ 2 ） . 將社區防災網絡與政府既有的防救災體系連結，動員居民、社區巡守隊、志工隊、新興國中老師、學生參與訓練，讓社區居民具備抗災、避災、減災的知識。（ 3 ） . 每二年實施一次消防演練，實際操作消防滅火器材並讓居民檢驗家中滅火器效期和消防設備功能是否正常。 。

Public Place Safety Promotion Team

Partners: Jinhwa Community Development Association, Jinhwa Borough Office, South District Office, Environmental Protection Bureau, Health Bureau, Department of Construction Management, Department of Social Affairs

Results ：（ 1 ） Idle places had been turned into 22 parking areas

for more than 700 cars, and 15 parks for resident.

（ 2 ） The broken park pavements, ruined by root, caused

residents fall injury. The SC program seeks for improvement

effectively.

（ 3 ） The tiling stairs often caused people fall injury

when rainy days. The SC program eliminated

the threats.

生態景觀池旁親水設施之陶磚鋪設，沒注意排水斜度，致排水不良，池水淤積長青苔，兒童和使用的居民，一不小心就有被滑倒之可能，東勢安全社區訪問本社區時，就有一對母女發生摔倒的情形，本社區立即改善完成。

Transportation department led experts of traffic planning to Jinhwa community for spot consultation, and considered to cooperate resources to improve.

Home Safety Promotion Team

Partners: Jinhwa Community Development Association, Jinhwa Borough Office, manufactory of anti-slip mats, Health Bureau, Tainan Municipal Hospital

Achievements ：（ 1 ） Encourage residents to set anti-slip mats in the

bathroom for prevent fall injury.

（ 2 ） Design and provide the home safety manual to every

household.

（ 3 ） Tainan city government noticed our project and

legislates all newly-built houses to use anti-slip material for

fall prevention.

Leisure and Sports Safety Promotion Team

Partners: Taiwan Community University, DOH Tainan Hospital, Tainan Municipal Hospital, South District Office, Department of Social Affairs, Health Bureau

實施成果：由社區大學專業健康學程老師指導，利用公園中各類運動器材教導老人正確伸展身體各部份肌肉，正確使用公園體適能運動器材，達到適度運動效果，安全又健康。社區民眾參與過課程訓練後，沒有發生因使用運動器材而受傷的事件。

Intentional Injury Prevention Team

Partners: Shinshing Junior High School, Tainan Volunteers Servers Promotion Center, Chia-Nan University of Pharmacy & Science, Patrol Corps, Jinhwa Police office

Achievement:( 1) . Combining patrol corps’s manpower and resources to patrol the public place of the community. ( 2) . Running summer camp for junior high students to popularize the safe community spirit and promote teenagers' safety knowledge. ( 3) Setting community report system to record injury cases and assist children, women, and the elderly.

School Safety Promotion Team

Partners: Shinshing Junior High School, Happy Kindergarten, PenWan-Zu Culture & Education Foundation, Chia-Nan University of Pharmacy & Science, Department of Education, Department of Social Affairs, Women and Children's Corps

Results:
