RESOLUTION NO. 2013- 03 - 031

A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE AWARD OF PROJECTS TO THE LONE CALCULATED AND RESPONSIVE BIDDERS.

WHEREAS, the Provincial Government of Benguet advertised the Invitation to Bid for the projects and posted in the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System (PhilGEPS), Benguet website(www.benguet.gov.ph), designated areas at the Provincial Capitol Lobby, Benguet Prov’l. Hospital, Atok Municipal Hall and at the Office of the Provincial Engineer for the period from March 20, 2013 – March 26, 2013.

WHEREAS, in accordance to Section 53.9 of RA 9184 as amended, the BAC- Infrastructure is allowed to procure Projects through Small Value Procurement under modes of procurement.

WHEREAS, the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) has invited qualified contractors to negotiate with the BAC- Infrastructure for the procurement of said projects in consonance with Section 53.9 of RA 9184 as amended.

WHEREAS, in response to the invitation, contractors participated in the bidding conducted on March 27, 2013.

WHEREAS, after the opening of bids, an evaluation was conducted by the Technical Working Group (TWG) and after deliberation by the BAC of the result, 15 projects were recommended for award to the lone calculated responsive bidders as follows.
