SafeEntry User Guide
Request for SafeEntry Gateway device
Last updated on 22 February 2021
Please note that SafeEntry Gateway devices:
● Should only be requested for manned public-facing entrances.
● Should only be deployed at the venues they are requested for.
● Are configured for check-ins only.
Request for SafeEntry Gateway deviceStep 1: Log in to your SafeEntry business account at https://safeentry.gov.sg/logins/new
1.1) Find Log in details
1.2) Enter details and click “Log in”
You can retrieve your login details using 1 of these methods:
- Look in the email titled “Account approved! Welcome to
SafeEntry”. This was sent when your account was set up.
- Click on this link and follow the instructions.
Request for SafeEntry Gateway deviceStep 2: Enter One-Time Pin (OTP) sent to your business email.
2.1) Enter OTP and click “Submit” 2.2) Click “Resend
OTP” if you did not receive a OTP

3.1) Click on “SafeEntry Gateway”

If you see a prompt indicating that you have missing information in your branch, follow the steps to fill in the missing information before submitting a request.

4.1) Click on “Apply for Gateway device”
Note:Only eligible businesses can access this page.
Request for SafeEntry Gateway deviceStep 5: Key in the requester’s details
5.1) Key in Requester’s Name, Contact number and email. Request status updates will be sent to the Requester’s email.
Click on this link to submit your queries or request for technical support.
Request for SafeEntry Gateway deviceStep 6: Choose if you want the Gateways delivered to 1 address OR separate addresses.
6.1) If you prefer to have Gateways sent to 1 address: select “Send all to 1 address”(see subsequent steps here)
6.2) If you prefer to have Gateways sent to the respective venues: select “Send to each venue”(see subsequent steps here)
Note: SafeEntry Gateways device should only be deployed at the venue they are requested for.
Deliver Gateways to 1 address
If you prefer to have the Gateways sent to the respective venues, see these steps
Request for SafeEntry Gateway device - send to 1 addressStep 7: Indicate delivery address and recipient details
7.1) Key in delivery address.(If your delivery address does not have a unit number, leave the “unit number” field blank)
7.2) Key in Recipient details. The delivery status updates will be sent to the Requester and Recipient’s email.
Request for SafeEntry Gateway device - send to 1 addressStep 8a: Ensure that the listed venue is a public-facing venue.
SafeEntry Gateway device is only for use at public-facing venues. Unselect any non public-facing venues by unchecking this box.
Request for SafeEntry Gateway device - send to 1 addressStep 8b: Indicate the quantity of Gateways required for each venue
Maximum number of manned public-facing entrances you can request Gateway devices for.
8.1) Indicate number of Gateways needed at the venue.
Note:If a venue needs more Gateways, submit an appeal here.
Request for SafeEntry Gateway device - send to 1 addressStep 8b: Indicate the quantity of Gateways required for each venue
Maximum number of manned public-facing entrances you can request Gateway devices for.
8.1 ) Number of Gateways needed for the venue’s entrance(s).
8.2) Number of Gateways needed for the sub-venues.
For venues that have set up sub-venues
Request for SafeEntry Gateway device - send to 1 addressStep 9: Click on “Submit request” when you have completed the form.
9.1) Go through the page until the end of the list to complete requests for public-facing venues.
9.2) Click on “Submit request” when you have completed and reviewed the requests.
Request for SafeEntry Gateway device - send to 1 addressStep 10: Read and agree to the Terms & Conditions
10.1) Click on “Yes, I agree” if you agree with the Terms & Conditions. This is required before the request can be submitted.
Request for SafeEntry Gateway device - send to 1 addressStep 11: Your request is now submitted.
Note:
Once you have requested for the maximum number of Gateways for a venue, you will no longer be able to request more Gateways for the venue in this portal.
If a venue needs more Gateways, submit an appeal here.
What’s Next?
An email acknowledging the request submission will be sent to the Requester’s email address.

After submission of requests for SafeEntry Gateway deviceRequest and Delivery status updates will be provided via email
Request Received and Request Confirmed emails will be sent to the Requester.
Gateway Shipped email, including the Activation link and SafeEntry Gateway device user guide, is sent to Requester and Recipient.
