A RESOLUTION REQUESTING INFORMATION FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND HIGHWAY, LAGUNA DISTRICT OFF'l;CE ON THE LISTED DPWH PROJECT AT BARANGAY MACABLING, CITY OF SANTA ROSA, LAGUNA, IDENTIFIED AS PROJ. ID NO 4A 0415H0061 AS TO THE EXACT LOCATION OF THE PROJECT.

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod ls in receipt of a request for the approval of the Santa Rosa City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council Resolution No. 09 Series of 2015 recommending the re-alignment of PB MILLION for the completion of bridge at Barangay Macabling;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Panlungsod was informed that there is a listed DPWH Project for a bridge at Barangay Macabling and it is imperative that the Sanggunian be informed if the DPWH Project is not in tre same location as the proposed project of the City Government identified as completion of bridge at Barangay Macabling;

NOW, THEREFORE, on a motion duly seconded by:

HEREBY RESOLVED, as it is hereby RESOLVED to request information from the Department of Public Wo;ks c:nd Highway, Laguna District Office on the listed DPWH Project at Barangay Macabling City of Santa Rosa, Laguna, identified as Proj. ID No. 4A 0415HOOG1 as to the exact location of the project.

A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE APPROVAL OF THE REALIGNMENT OF THE AMOUNT OF PHPS,000,000.00 FROM SANTA ROSA CITY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT FUND (SRCDRRMF) WHICH WAS PREVIOUSLY ALLOCATED FOR THE EXTENSION OF MUL Tl-PURPOSE BUILDING FOR EVACUATION CENTER AT BARANGAY MARKET AREA, CITY OF SANTA ROSA, AND THE RELEASE AND UTILIZATION THEREOF FOR THE COMPLETION OF BRIDGE AT BARANGAY MACABLING, CITY OF SANTA ROSA

WHEREAS, under the·Annual Investment Plan for the year 2015 of Santa Rosa City Disaster Risk Reduction . and Management Fund (SRCDRRMF), an amount of Php8,000,000.00 was allocated for the extension of Multi-Purpose Building for Evacuation Center at Barangay Market Area, Santa Rosa City;

WHEREAS, the SRCDRRMC sees that the extension of the subject Multi-Purpose Halls for Evacuation Center in the aforementioned Barangay should be set aside to give way to construction and completion of the much needed bridge at Barangay Macabling, Santa Rosa City;

WHEREAS, the completion of the subject bridge at Barangay Macabling, this City, is necessary in order to realize and fully achieve the disaster risk reduction and management programs and activities of SRCDRRMC;

WHEREFORE, be it RESOLVED as it is hereby RESOLVED that the amount of Php8,000,000.00 previously allocated for., extension of Multi-Purpose Building for Evacuation Center at Barangay Market ~ rea1 . Santa Rosa City under the 2015 SRCDDRMF be recommended for realignment and· reprogram, and the same be immediately released and utilized for construction and completion of the bridge located at Barangay Macabling, Santa Rosa City.

RESOLVED, FURTHER, that this Resolution Will take effect immediately upon passage.

PROPOSED PROJECT RE-ALIGNMENT (2015)

The Office of the City Engineer submits the proposal for the RE-ALIGNMENT of the project "Extension of Multi-Purpose Building for Evacuation Center @ Brgy. Market Area, City of Santa Rosa, Laguna" amounting to Php 8,000,000.00, to "Completion of Bridge @ Brgy. Macabling, City of Santa Rosa, Laguna" .

During the project implementation of "Construction of Bridge at Brgy. Macabling (Phase I), the Soil Boring Test Result FAILED · relative to the Original Design which is set Standard by the bureau. Our office was required to revise the design of foundation of the proposed bridge. These changes will incL.r a relative cost to supplement and complete the said project. The revisions on the design will be integrated on this Proposed Project Re-alignment which is an essential investment to sustain the LGU's effort in providing better services to the public.
