Rescue Tape is extremely effective and easy to use.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Wrap Rescue Tape around project by stretching and
overlapping onto itself. Remove plastic liner from tape as you
wrap. Stretch at least twice its length to ensure the best fusion.
For high pressure leaks, stretch to the maximum amount. Rescue
Tape works on either side. The tighter Rescue Tape is wrapped,
the quicker and stronger it fuses.
2. Continue overlapping Rescue Tape onto itself by 50% so that ½
the width is covered by the next wrap. The first and last wrap
should completely overlap onto itself. Most repairs can be made
by wrapping 3 to 5 layers thick and wrapping 3 to 5 inches (7-
12cm) on both sides of the repair. For high pressure leaks,
additional layers may be necessary for added strength.
3. Rescue Tape begins fusing immediately and is not reusable.
For best results, do not attempt to reposition Rescue Tape after
the fusing process begins.
