RescueSim is training soware that prepares public safety and

security professionals for real-life incidents in a virtual environment.

Real-life training is an excellent way to develop competences, but

is oen me-consuming and expensive. RescueSim prepares safety

and security professionals for incidents by le ng them train in a

realisc virtual environment, without the dangers, costs and me

associated with tradional training.

Users experience realisc incidents and can try dierent response

strategies. Instructors can easily build any incident scenario usingthe intuive toolbox and have full control over events during the

exercise, changing the incident on the fly. A detailed log of all

acons allows evaluaon and assessment aer the exercise.

RescueSim can be used as an in-house training tool or as part of a

specic training course oered by our cered training partners.

Cered training partners provide training according to the latest

guidelines and regulaons for your organizaon.

Organizaons with their own training infrastructure can use

A Complete Incident Training Solution

RescueSim is used for one-on-one training, classroom training andmul-user team training. Both mono- and muldisciplinary training is

possible.

ONE-ON-ONE TRAINING

Train a specic role during an incident. An individual

trainee is trained by the instructor. Due to the direct

communicaon and feedback that the instructor

provides, the trainee is able to achieve predened

learning goals. For a trainee, this training method is frequently

experienced as an in-depth approach to their day-to-day acvies.

By involving large-scale scenarios the trainee will be prepared for theincidents which can not be trained in real-life exercises. The smaller

scale scenarios are used to prepare the trainee for evacuaon,

observaon and taking the appropriate rst steps.

CLASSROOM TRAINING

An instructor and mulple trainees parcipate. One

trainee is assigned the leadership role and takes the

controls during the scenario. The other parcipants

assist and discuss which decisions are to be taken. This

module focuses on the interacon between the trainees. During this

training, trainees will each have a dierent approach to an incident.

By discussing and simulang these various approaches, the group of

trainees will learn to determine the best possible soluon to a realisc

problem.

MULTI-USER TRAINING

This training method allows mulple users to

parcipate in joint training exercises simultaneously.

Mul-user exercises can be done either with dierent

roles within a single agency or with mulple agencies. Mul-user

training allows full coordinaon training between dierent emergency

services simultaneously, and enables training at operaonal, taccal and

strategic level.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE TRAINING

For Emergency Services, Conngency Services, Road Management,

Regional Incident Teams

The Emergency Response module is aimed at taking appropriate acon

when an incident occurs. The 3D environments consist of high-rise

cies, residenal areas, railroad staons, an airport and dierent road &

highway types in and around which incidents can be created.

This module is also usable for evacuaon purposes, safety & security

training, as well as communicaon training between dierent emergency

response units.

INDUSTRIAL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT

For Company Fire Depts., First Responders, Incident Command Teams,

Employees working with hazardous materials, Safety/Health &Environment experts

Main focus of the Industrial Incident Management module is on the

incidents that could occur on industrial sites. The instructor is able

to create an environment similar to the work site. Module includes

industrial incidents like tank res, liquid spillage, gas releases, on-site

collisions and many more.

PORT INCIDENT MANAGEMENT

For Port authories, Port safety ocers, Fire Depts. dealing with port

authories, Vessel commanders, Incident command teams dealing withbusy waterways

This module focuses on incidents in which vessels and port authories

are involved and includes dierent port types & objects, allowing for

complex incidents like on-board & shore res, on-water spillage and

environmental incidents situated near the waterways. Incidents involve

the vessel commanders, port authories and shore personnel.

OFFSHORE INCIDENT MANAGEMENT

For Port authories, Coast guards, Oshore Safety ocers, Vessel

commanders, Company incident command teams (dealing with oshore)

Oshore Incident Management focuses on incidents taking place

oshore. These incidents can take place on dierent types of vessels, as

well as on board of oil rig plaorms. The module contains many oshore

specic objects to create and train incidents ranging from small scale on-

site or on-vessel accidents to large scale disasters, including oil rig res.
