Why might RCC be useful?
UWE PGR constituency provides an excellent
opportunity to enable PGR students to develop together
At UWE there is no overall framework currently being
used for researcher development
There are new challenges for researcher development
UWE has significant experience of innovative delivery to
draw on
We can do something to enhance PGR experience that is
different to training.
It will be fully available on remote access via Visimeet.

The RCC Module
Developed with Vitaes RDF in mind for Oct 2012 on
It is a Research-Based Learning module that embeds
development in research. It uses the pedagogy of Work-
Based Learning modules
It will provide inter-disciplinary and cohort learning
opportunities
PGR students develop most of the RDF attributes by
doing research RCC will complement this and help PGR
students evidence and recognise their development
RCC will evolve focus from credit requirement towardsresearcher development
