• Replaces former Technology Partnership Program
• Designed to accelerate development & transfer of promising technology to Canadian companies
• Phase I: Proof-of-Concept funding
• Phase II: Tech enhancement funding
Research Partnerships Agreements (RPA)
• Maximizes research resources Builds university-industry-government linkages
• Agreements with 4 government departments DND, CFS/SSHRC, AAFC, NRCan-Earth Sciences
• Priority research areas for each RPA• Industry contributes cash & in-kind
