Research Plan I already have my initial ideas, which I will be creating an animatic around the themes of how fashion can enhance a female’s sexual desire for a male. I will need to be incorporating some research around the images I want to create and an in-depth reason of why they should be placed within my animatic. My research should include knowledge from primary data that I have collected myself from questionnaires, interviews and surveys, so I can have first hand evidence from my friends and the general public to see what they actually think about my ideas and how they themselves would use my themes with their own ideas. My secondary data will be collected from the Internet, books, newspapers and magazines. As we know, the internet dominates the media so most of my research will come from there, but using other mediums grants me a higher chance that I will hit my target audiences needs. i-D magazine will be my second main source of research data because it’s the ‘client’ that we are taking the pictures for. Therefore my main focus should be on what the client wants. My primary and secondary research will contain quantitative data to data a quicker process of eliminating struggling issues. For example, if I was researching about who would appeal to my female pictures more and 7/10 people said males, a quick depiction of 70% would be cast and I would aim agree and aim my pictures towards males. This research method is a favourite of mine personally because I believe I prefer to work with percentages and also I believe you can gain more data with this method because it takes less time to compile. Another method I should be using is Qualitative data sampling because this means I can gain a deeper insight into the thoughts of why the audience thought the things they did about my questions. Qualitative is like an in- depth interview with my audience to find out their feelings and reasons behind their thoughts. This can help my to understand my audience more and rearrange my creativity to correspond with them.

Research Plan

I already have my initial ideas, which I will be creating an animatic around the themes of how fashion can enhance a female’s sexual desire for a male.

Qualitative is like an in-depth interview with my audience to find out their feelings and reasons behind their thoughts. This can help my to understand my audience more and rearrange my creativity to correspond with them.

All this data will need to be gained with accuracy, so I could conduct some pilot research. This is done with large quantitative surveys to make sure I’m asking the right questions to my audience and collecting the correct information to help my with my project. To gain strong research all these factors will help me. I also need to be aware of the sampling methods I use. Stratified sampling will be my main form of sampling because I can hit a wider range of audience for feedback with the certain questions I will be asking. Quota sampling will be most helpful with my quantitative data because I can depict the audience of who fits the characteristics for my question and interview them. Finally, I could even use volunteer sampling to collect data, although this is quick and easy, the volunteers may not fit the characteristics of my questions, therefore giving me anomaly in my results.
