It provides a digest of staff research activity, highlighting accomplishments in, and the collective impact upon, the interdisciplinary fields of sport & physical activity. The global reach and impact of staff research is showcased in academic outputs, research income and external bidding, international conference and keynote presentations, and a number of other research accomplishments.

Dr Dean Allen was a finalist for 2016 Alan Paton Award for non-fiction Book of the Year in South Africa (Empire, War and Cricket in South Africa – May 2016). He also hosted / mc’d the West Somerset Sport Awards evening, West Somerset School / Minehead Cricket Club. June 2016
