ONLY A FEW DAYS LEFT!!! We have been running a Mathletics competition for our Gr 3-6 students and a select amount of grade 2. It’s been wonderful to see many students putting in extra time to do more Maths! The competition will close on Sunday with the student from each class who has the highest amount of points receive a special “Maths” prize to the value of $30. Mathletics is an online maths program that allows students to consolidate their Maths learning based on the Victorian Curriculum. The school pays for the student’s subscription.

Sunraysia Hockey On Tuesday, both the girl’s and boy’s Hockey Teams played at the Sunraysia Regional Championships. The girls started with a 0-0 draw against St. Pauls and followed up with a 2-0 win against Mildura South. That meant they had to win the final game of the whole day, but lost 0-3 to Nichols Point. Everybody tried their best, using the techniques and game plans they had been practising in their recess and lunch times. The boys kept us all on the edge of our seats, starting with a 0-0 draw against Irymple South, following up with a 1-1 draw against The Lake Primary. They finished strongly with a 4-1 win over St. Pauls in a phenomenal display of skill. Unfortunately, they needed one more win to finish top of the ladder. Again, everyone gave 100% to their games and it was a real treat to see them improve every match. Thank you to all the parents who came to watch and cheer and to Mr. Hall for helping in the morning and Mrs Crisp for coaching
