Cautions
1. If there is a possibility of dropping work-pieces during vacuum suction, take a safety measure against the risk of falling.2. Make sure to install a suction cup fitting properly. There is a possibility of troubles due to the looseness.3. There is a possibility of troubles such as clogging, suction cup abrasion, crack, deterioration, the galling of sliding part of the fitting and the
looseness in joints due to the leakage of vacuum system. Carry out maintenance inspection periodically.4. When a work-piece is transported by a suction cup, consider the acceleration, impacts and wind pressure. Otherwise, the work-piece may drop
during transportation.5. When a bulkhead type of small suction cup fitting is installed in users' actual system, tighten the hexagon nuts with a proper tool with referring to the
recommended tightening torque of bulkhead nut of suction cup fitting. Make sure that there is no looseness of the nut.6. The rubber suction cup to be fit with the mark-free resin attachment must be our suction cup bellows series. When the shapes of the mark-free resin
attachment and the suction cup rubber do not match precisely, looseness of the resin attachment or large amount of leakage is caused.
1. The lip of the suction cup becomes hard resin by fitting the mark-free resin attachment to avoid leaving residual tracing mark comparing toconventional rubber suction cup. However, make certain that there is no residual mark left on the work by carrying out the trial with an actualoperating condition before use.
2. The vacuum leakage between the workpiece and the resin attachment influences the performance of the attachment compared to a conventional rubber suction cup. Using in vacuum retention system is not possible. Also, the vacuum pressure drop must be minimized by securing the vacuum suction flow as much as possible.
3. Be sure to wash the suction surface of cup before operation. Adhered substances on the attachment can cause tracing mark on work-pieces. Pay attention not to scratch suction surface and do not use organic solvent when washing.
4. Select the appropriate rubber material of bellows suction cup to be fit with the mark-free resin attachment in considering the operating conditions.
