Resolution No. 2 In Memoriam WHEREAS, it is fitting at this Convention that we pause to remember our brothers and sisters who were instrumental in advancing our Union to its current position of prestige and strength, but who have passed away since our most recent Convention; and WHEREAS, words alone are not adequate to eulogize those who gave so much towards the establishment and progress of our Union and whose lasting contributions to the USW and to the Labor Movement serve as monuments to their memories; and WHEREAS, since our Union's convention in 2008, we were saddened by the deaths of former USWA International Secretary-Treasurer Edgar L. Ball, former USWA National Director of Canada E. Gerard Docquier, and former OCAW National Director C. Neil Reimer; by the deaths of former OCAW General Counsel James Cronin, of former OCAW Director Billy McGoveran and former OCAW Vice President Jimmy Ray Bird; by the deaths of former PACE Vice Presidents and Regional Directors Arnold Brown, Joe Bradshaw, David W. Gordon, II, and Edward Windorff; and of former USWA Directors Bertram N. McNamara, Roy H. Stevens, Jr., Primo Pandeletti, John J. Murphy and Harry O. Dougherty; and WHEREAS, we are also saddened by the passing of the following members of our international staff and retired staff employees who have passed away since our 2008 Convention: Abraham S. Albert Eliseo Alicea Michael S. Angelo Helen Bacheller Emery F. Bacon John M. Baker George W. Banks Mary V. Bee Louis S. Beliczky Joseph S. Benbenek Russell E. Bergstedt Rhoberly Blythe Robert D.
