Olivia Gans Turner directs American Vic-tims of Abortion (AVA), an outreach project within the Outreach Department of the Na-tional Right to Life Committee (NRLC). Olivia helped to organize one of the nation’s first peer-to-peer post-abortion support groups in the New York City area after al-most two years of suffering through an acute emotional reaction to her own abortion ex-perience as an unwed college student. Olivia has spoken widely on post-abortion syndrome and other abortion-related issues

in the United States and in Europe. She travels to many college campuses throughout the year to meet with the students, and, as a frequent witness before legislative bodies, she provides testimony on informed consent laws and parental notification laws, as well as abortion complications. In the nineteen years since she became AVA director, she has traveled to over seventeen countries. Between 1994 and 2000, Olivia was a non-governmental organiza-tion (NGO) delegate to numerous United Nations conferences. Those include the 1994 World Population and Development Con-ference held in Egypt; the 1995 United Nations Conference on Women held in Beijing, China; and the 2000 World Summit on Children held in New York City. In 2014, Olivia was asked by the Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN) to host a five part half hour mini series, When They Say You Say. The series has aired twice and is designed to help prepare pro-lifers for answering the tough questions they will face when they debate or discuss pro-life issues. Olivia has appeared on such nationally syndicated programs and networks as Nightline, Good Morning America, Hannity & Colmes, C-SPAN, CNN, and National Public Radio (NPR), EWTN Nightly News, and other news programs. In addition to her duties at NRLC, Olivia currently serves as the president of Virginia Society for Human Life.

Frederick County Right to Life (FCRTL) is dedicated to pro-

tecting all innocent human Life from conception to natural

death. FCRTL conducts educational programs, lobbying sup-

port to our state and federal legislators, and works with

churches, pregnancy centers and local civic originations.

FCRTL is a chapter of Maryland Right to Life. We are a dedi-

cated team committed to building a culture of life in Frederick

County, Maryland and our nation.

• Organized 40 Days for Life in Fall of 2015 at Planned Parenthood Facility on Thomas Johnson Drive

• Held Life Chain on Route 40 in Oct 2015.

• Used email list to inform interested individuals about events affecting the Pro-Life cause.

• Had booth at Celebrate Frederick “In the Streets” Sept. 2016

• Assisted National and Maryland RTL with special projects including fighting Doctor Prescribed Sui-cide bills.

• Participated in March for Life in DC and Annapolis

• We’re always open to present pro-life talks at churches, schools and local organization meetings.
